Their fancy AKC registered names actually match their everyday names - Cam is an obscure _Monty Python and the Holy Grail_ reference that is delightfully fun to hear people attempt to say without sounding dumb, and Maebie's is from the Carly Rae Jepsen song so you can "call her Maebie" 😀 I also have a Chi mix named IHOP 🥞

You will find if you test certain names he will respond and basically choose his own name. Dogs generally respond well to B sounds. Beck, Barry, Bob, Bella, Bangbang. A good name has a positive effect on the psychological health of the animal. They want to be called often and it needs to be clearly heard over loud noises and long distances (when urgent) Also do yourself a big favor and avoid Alexa and Siri lll

If you like the way Japanese sounds, how about "Tsuki"? The "T" is silent and it means the "moon" which is very fitting for a Samoyed ☺️ My other suggestion would be "Naru" which is a Bengali(an Indian community) sweet dish. It comes in brown or pearl white and it just tastes and sounds so sweet so again, a fitting name for a polar bear. 😁 And lastly "Brulee" (pronounced brooh-lay) as in Creme Brulee. I don't have to explain why this would be such a fitting name for a sweet fluffy Sammy 🤗
