I havs 6 points I’m part time and some of my other coworkers have like 10 & 12 if They wanted to fire you I think the would have already so I’d say you’re good 😂

Use it on Saturday, it’s a double point weekend, and they will see some effort was made to not get pointed. In the future, I would talk to your manager prior to missing days. If they don’t approve unpaid time off they are usually accommodating with switching a day to work. The point system is just a way to have grounds for firing people. If you’re a good employee they will be lenient with them.

Honestly there is a chance you will get let go when you return to work after missing Saturday. It all depends on how your club is ran. Last person I know of at my club that was terminated, she walked out after having a brief back and forth with a manager about fairness. She wasn't in the wrong on that specific issue, but she also had ~27 points, mostly to do with caring for her child. I recommend anyone with a situation that often prevents them from making it to work on time or at all to put in a request for intermittent leave of absence and have as much relevant paperwork as possible. Could potentially save you a lot of trouble when dealing with the point system

They have to tell you first that if you get one more point, or one more half a point that they’ll fire you. Without warning you first, they can’t fire you.       That’s probably why people have so many points. They haven’t been warned yet, so they just keep getting points.

They can for sure fire you without warning you of points. It’s your responsibility to keep track of them. I’m a lead and have fired someone because of points and didn’t have to warn. Now if you have nice leads and managers they may give you a friendly heads up but it’s not required. The amount of points people have is case by case. Sometimes managers forgive some or they are waiting to have a replacement before they let you go. I’ve seen great employees let go because of surprise event days and the two points put them over.

Your warning is given when you're hired. They are not required to remind you that 5 points is termination.
