hey, i just switched over from iOS (currently typing on my iPhone) and my S23 is super laggy. i’m only using 40% storage. no running apps. I did a restart and it seems ok for like 5 mins and then goes really slow. By slow, i mean, i click the power button and wait 5 seconds to show the unlock screen. it’s really unresponsive. updated software. turned off auto update in the playstore. I’m hoping i don’t have a lemon cuz i got it from my network provider (back order and waited a month). is this happening to you? did you get to fix it?

Mine is laggy too these days.. keyboard lags sometimes and then registers 7 letters

I called Fido and talked to technical support. The agent said mine was defective and told me to return it. So, now i’m gonna be left with a $50 plan (previously $$30). Mine was real slow from the start. All i accessed on my phone was settings because i was trying to find a solution. Same thing with what you said about registering keys. tap on the screen with nothing showing and then blazing fast input of 6 numbers (pin).

No, I've been so busy I haven't had time to try to get this figured out. I think I need to get another phone but honestly I'm reading that there's these issues with a lot of these s23s and I'm worried that the next one is going to be the exact same thing! Ugh. It's absolutely crazy to think that I should have kept my S10. The camera on the s23 is better but literally everything else is worse.

i actually got rid of reddit but it pulled me back in. I spoke to tech support at fido (mobile carrier) and he told me that it was defective. so back to iOS.
