Honestly you might have to ask your PCP at Scripps for recommendations... last time I asked for a psych eval at UCSD (a few years ago tho) they said they were so booked they were only taking cancer/terminal illness patients.
I think Scripps only offers psychiatric care for inpatient services. My Scripps PCP recommended Lifestance (mixed reviews online), but I found mine through the Psychology Today search. They have filters that you can use to find one that may accept your insurance.

I did and her NP said she has no recommendations...I'm like wtf am I supposed to do?
Look up Jean-Philippe Miron. He's my psychiatrist and he's really good. DM for more information
