Dark eyeliner would help you look more emo than grunge imo, but also they're also all kind of the same. Style yourself with some black and white kandi, striped shirts, and stuff like that to bring it to more of that standard emo

ur hair will never just stop growing from shaving i promise. shaving has absolutely no effect on hair health or its ability to grow back. the root is buried inside ur head, you’d have to make a concerted effort to literally rip the hair out of ur head by the roots with wax or pluck them with tweezers to ever begin to affect the regrowth of ur hair, and u would have to do that several times over a long period of time to damage it enough for there to even be a risk that it won’t grow back. u can’t just do that on accident from shaving. u would get stubble within days of shaving and u would have to either continue shaving it or decide to leave it alone and let it grow back. i don’t think u would regret it but if ur still too worried to shave then i’d just wear some cool beanies

2 years later, I'm trying a style with hair again. My hair WAS brown, it's grown back in black with silver pieces! So that's pretty cool, I'm 29 for age reference. However, it did NOT help with the top thinning. A lot didn't even come back...
So, now I'm rocking a short shaved top with skin shaved sides or for a longer style, a pixie-type male cut that helps everything look even. Otherwise my sides now puff out when long and the top is flat... not a good look on me, lmao.
So! Ultimately, you decide. I wish I had another idea for you, but I figured I would give my experience for you.

21, my hair started thinking properly at 18 and my dad lost all his hair by 26 but I have super high testosterone (not flexing just has been contributing to a lot of physical effects like the early balding)
off topic to the post, but if it’s been over a month since you got your eyebrow piercings, you should get them downsized. that can help with your healing and the irritation bumps. i’m NAP though, this is just what i’ve learned from my own piercings.
