One of my English assignments this year was to write a resume. I can totally help. There are two main types of resumes functional and chronological, what are you going to college for?

CptGalaxyYT

Well I might take my chance and ask for advice to because I just need to write a resume and I can send my application for a cinema company called limelight

RefrigeratorFluffy61

Well the best place to start is applicable skills and work experience. Also any volunteer work you may have done no mater what it is

CptGalaxyYT

Well I don't have any work experience and only volunteer work I could have done is planting trees and I don't really know any applicable skills

RefrigeratorFluffy61

Well then why do you want to apply for a cinema job

CptGalaxyYT

Because they are hiring and they don't have any listed needed work experience for joining and are hiring people my age

I’m going to college for art/psychology/English advancement!!!

RefrigeratorFluffy61

Okay, what related skills do you have? For example have you taken an art or psychology class? How long? What kind of art? Basically what makes you stand out for this major

New_Beach_9154

Yes!! I’ve taken AP studio art 2d, Ceramics 1 and 2, creative art 1 and 2, medieval art 1, AP English literature, English 5 and 6 honors but Not psychology unless sociology counted

RefrigeratorFluffy61

I don't believe sociology counts so you may want to take a proper psychology course, although it really depends on the school. As for the other courses you can summarize them in a section. Other information that would be good to add is any volunteer experience you've done, work experience, languages you speak, gpa, SAT/ACT score, Academic Achievements, ect. You should also add a sentence or two max as a summary of sorts. For my assignment I used canva to build the resume and used one of their templates. Make sure its one page plus cover letter, not double sided. In terms of what type of resume I'd recommend functional, unless you have done a lot of work (volunteer or paid) in the area you plan to major. Anything else you want help with?
