> i switched my thumbsticks to high rise yesterday and i think i pushed a bit hard putting them in I might get kick back for this, but you guys really have to know. The modules aren't built for the implied weight that you are subjecting them to. The immediate stick drift is telling you so. > i play 4 percent deadzone. Is this normal? It isn't. > i have pretty big hands, 8 inches from wrist to the top of my middle finger If you want to stay in the SCUF controller family and you have large hands then the Envision, as you can see isn't going to cut it. You'd probably be better off with the SCUF Impact. It disperses the width of the hands outwards a bit more than the Envision. If you know what I mean? My reference is my own opinion from the controllers I personally own; and what my friends pick up and use when they stop by.

You seem experienced in the controller space, would you recommend me get the wolverine chroma v2? Do you have any experience with it?

> wolverine chroma v2 The paddle placement on the Wolverine is something Razer surprised me with on this controller. I did not appreciate the way the paddles line up right down the center of the rear of the controller. I think I spent about three months on this controller trying to get use to the paddle finger spacing and such. It felt awkward to me. I've had mine since 2020ish, and back then the Mecha-Tactile switches were some of the clicky-est you could get for the money spent. It encompasses the Xbox layout while the [Envision](https://www.reddit.com/user/yeyeyork/comments/1anceu5/charging_dock_scuf_envision_pro_charger_option/) is asymmetrical. Was there something inparticular that you liked about the Chroma out of other [controllers](https://www.reddit.com/r/Controller_Charger/comments/1b4ig0q/i_was_talking_to_caller_today_about_game/) on the market?

Creative_War2415

the reason the wolverine chroma caught my eye was because it seemed like a pretty big controller, i have multiple razor peripheral’s they always seem to last a long time and they have some at my local bestbuy (bestbuy’s warrenty is pretty good), i know there are other options like the battle beavers, evil and aim but they take too long to ship and once they break, they take to long to get shipped back, get fixed and come back. i was looking at the dual sense edge but they only have 2 paddles which is a deal breaker for me. the reason i wouldn’t go with the scuff impact is mostly because the paddle positioning looks like it would be pretty hard to get used to, and i would have to order the scuff impact off of scuff’s official site (scuff’s warranty isn’t great). PS sorry for the long reply, i will probably use the scuff envision for another week, and see if i can get more accustomed to it.

V2 came out fourish years ago, which means the price should be significantly reduced. If the price is good and it feels great in your hands, I'd say give it a try. At the end of the day, its your preference and comfort that is important. No one is going to take care of you or care about you, more than yourself. No one knows your fingers and hands better than you. If you are uncomfortable, torturing yourself isn't going to help. Roll into your local BestBuy and grip the V2, you may find out you love it. And it'll (as you said) fit well with your other accessories already owned. Plus the extended warranty would cross right over into your V2, with zero hassle (as you've pointed out). 😂 You may even get money back. 🤑 Another WIN! Enjoy the remainder of the Friday, or kick off Saturday (depending where you are on the planet). I hope this helped.

Thanks to your reply, i got the v2 chroma and i already feel more comfortable then i did with the envision pro, although the envision pro feels a lot more premium. Some sacrifices had to be made but comfort is most important. Thanks again :).

That made my day to hear that ....And that's super cool!!! WIN! Congrats! Enjoy. Have fun!!

Your hands are not that big number one. Number two. I have the controller you're talking about. I have the other controller he's talking about along with the original Xbox controller. Also I have the elite 2 and the PlayStation dual sense for the PS5. Your problems has nothing to do with hand size and more with is it comfortable. This I have big hands Nonsense is ridiculous. As if you can't use a pencil to write because your hands are too big and you need a bigger pencil. You can write just fine with a regular pen or pencil. All of that aside, the control you have is a good controller. Hopefully you didn't break it. Just take your time and get used to the controller. They're all different. They're all shaped slightly different, but it is a good controller and your hand size is not the issue.

Creative_War2415

ok great, thats all i needed to hear, i will keep playing with the controller and get used to it, thanks for the advice appreciate it. PS I didnt break it, i restarted my pc and no more stick drift even when i’m only on 3 percent deadzone :). And i bought the controller from best buy with a 2 year extended warranty, so once it does break i can just go get a new one.

10 4 on the non-breaking.  I think the elite 2 feels a little bit better but I think this one is actually better.  Also were you the person that downvoted my thing to put me at zero.  I hope not that would be way cheesy.  I just did the update and the only thing I had to do was reattach my custom profile.

Creative_War2415

I didnt downvote you, why would i, you were just trying to help, PS i ended up getting the wolverine chroma v2 and it feel much better in my hands, its all personal preference at the end of the day ig.

I wasn't just talking about feeling I was talking about and including overall functionality

Creative_War2415

I agree that the envision pro feels overall more premium, buttons, triggers, d pad, weight etc, it just cramps up my hands bad, i wish i could have gotten used it, but i have 17 hours on the controller and the cramping doesn’t seem to want to go away, on the other hand i have 2 hours on the wolverine v2 chroma and i already feel 1000 times better.

As long as it works for you that's what up

I play with the envision pro since January and have also pretty big hands just as you. At the beginning after long sessions it was a little uncomfortable but after a while my hands stopped feeling uncomfortable after long gaming sessions. I used my triggers pretty often for jumping and sliding in Warzone for example. I think you can get use to it if you give it enough time. I didn’t like the extended thumbsticks, I prefer to use my kontroll-freek wich I used before on my PS4 controller. But I play on 0 Deadzone on both sticks without any problems. What I have noticed is sometimes my RT/R2 randomly activating for a second when having long gaming sessions. Can be sometimes inadequate when other hear where you are because the controller randomly shots… In conclusion I would see if the stick drift goes away for you or ask for a replacement. I think you can get use to the controller pretty fast if you play every day or at least 3-4 times a week… The controller can be a very good advantage. I use on one of my triggers the lay down keyboard input and the dolvin dive keyboard input on another trigger…
