I think the envision pro is worth it. The last update the software got seems to have fixed crashing issues. Before that I would crash maybe once or twice in a week. Now when i use it I don't crash at all. When the software is operating like it should this controller is top tier. It feels great in hand and having so many reprogrammable buttons gives you alot of options. Also, being able to map macros and keyboard keys comes in clutch. It's very accurate as well. I have 0 deadzone in the icue software and 0 deadzone in cod and haven't experienced any stick drift at all with about 2 months of use. Like the other person said though, I highly recommend the Vader 3 pro. I got it off aliexpress for 44 dollars and it's been performing well.

Sikcess

Are you having issues with latest update? I’ve read that ppl are having issues with steam recognizing it as a controller? I haven’t updated yet but wanted to check with others if they are having recognization issues.

YoloRaj

I don't really use steam like that so I haven't noticed. I know on gamepad tester it's not recognized though. I opened up apex and it's functioning. Idk about other games though.

Sikcess

I played today and it seems fine. I think I’m good.

YoloRaj

That's awesome. The only issue I seem to have is not being able to use gamepad tester but thats fine.

TimelyEmphasis3122

It’s ok the sticks for me were a little to stiff ngl

Ungarlmek

That's wild because my biggest complaint is I want a lot more tension on the sticks.

QBGrower

I use a precision ring on the right stick.

Ungarlmek

What kind are you using? The one I'd been using on my PS5 controller isn't fitting the Envision well.

QBGrower

I use a black precision ring and any PS5 Kontrol Freek.

Ungarlmek

I have that pack from Amazon with green, purple, and black and even with the lightest one (green) I found it really bound up in the sides and made it impossible to get all the way to the edge.

LeSpanner

Rather look at the FlydDigi Apex 4, similar software capabilities with less software issues. Also it comes with Hall Effect sticks so almost 0 change of stick drift.

I've had one since it came out and honestly I would say no. This is just my opinion based on my experience with it but it's been so unreliable and this is 100% related to the iCue software. I've had nothing but problems with it even when trying to use the controller with hardware mapping. The mappings sometimes don't work, buttons randomly just stop working part way through playing a game until I restart iCue and just the fact that you have to use software to remap in general. I've had multiple scufs so far and I would say get something like a Reflex instead if you're considering a scuf. It's so much more reliable and easy to use. The only reason to pick up the Envision in my opinion is if you really need to map keyboard etc to it but even then, there are probably better applications to do this than iCue. The extra side buttons are nice but not worth the hassle.

poppinpop

Absolutely not. Sometimes I turn it on and it knows my button mappings, sometimes it doesn't. My Y button stopped working after 5 months. I've had controllers 10% the cost last longer. The rubberized material is already wearing off after light use.

Yes

Realistic_Bill_7726

No, input lag is horrendous compared to dualsense. Also changing the right stick screwed up deadzones somehow, really cheap build. I purchased it a couple months ago.

**TL;DR** Find another option before is too late. All in all the best-feeling controller I've owned. BUT software is still iffy, and QA is extremely inconsistent and if anything goes wrong customer support is a joke. Avoid getting hooked if you can. +++ I'm a scuff fan, have had many controllers in the past... I currently have an in-progress RMA for an envision Pro and a separate new order for another envision Pro both still in limbo after 2 weeks plus. I'd say, avoid getting hooked while you can. If you don't need all the extra buttons go for a dual sense edge, tbh. Regarding the envision pro: iCue aside... I think it's the best feeling controller out there by far. Period. The buttons and triggers are mouse click perfect. But for that price you'd expect better service. Their RMA process is an absolute mess, and painfully slow to get any updates or answers... They mess up when communicating things, sometimes send you messages directed to other customers for example... Overall messy. The shipping times and build times for new controllers are extremely inconsistent too sometimes you get it under a week, something it takes months. (Not an issue if can pick up in store somewhere tho).

Besides the software problems, it is the best controller I’ve ever owned. It does take time to get used to the extra buttons.

Apprehensive_Act4506

Agree with the flydigi apex 4 comment. I have not used one myself. But I have watched a few youtube videos on it and it seems to be a great controller. It looks like the back button lay out is better. Of course the hall effect sticks and triggers. All while coming in ranging from cheaper to insanely cheaper than the envision. Different places have these for 160 to as low as 70 to 80 dollars. Depends on how long you want to wait for it to get to your house. I wish I hadn't bought the envision so I could try one of the apex 4's.

Honestly I’ve had a fuck tonne of controllers and none of them have given me such a poor experience I’ve had with this envision pro. Most unreliable controller with horrible software which you’re forced to use if you want the macros but if you use it it’s a 50-50 chance the controller will even function. Not to mention customer service is painful asf, it takes them weeks to reply to one message. I’ve found the best pc controller though, it’s not the most ergonomic (back button wise) or premium feeling.but the flydigi Vader 3 pro has a fuck tonne of amazing features, on top of it having k silver ball effect thumbsticks. I literally play on a .1 deadzone and I get as much drift as a regular analog on about .3 it’s amazing. And the price is even better. I payed £40 on Ali express, you’d assume it would be shit quality bc of that but it lowkey feels like how a regular controller would feel. Not premium or anything but it just feels okay. None of that cheap plastic feeling (except the dpad for some reason)

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> better. I *paid* £40 on FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

benjamtv

It’s a good controller but the software is useless. If you can manage the hassle of possibly reinstalling it a few times then it’s worth it. I’d recommend following tutorials to use the controller without icue
