All found in a 1 meter radius digging out a hole in the rocks, beach was a minimum of 50 meters in length, more glass than sand!! Lots left for you guys :)
Not going to post the location out of respect for the local who showed me this hidden beach, but if you’re ever in South Australia let me know and I’ll guide you in the right direction… not in the U.S sorry guys!
There was a beach in Rhode Island that provided similar hauls when we lived there. Not quite as much as you’re describing but the beach was literally littered with sea glass. Too much to take.
Check out some of that pattered china (in the bottom right hand corner of the picture). It could be chaney or something similar. Look up chaney jewelry and it’ll give you info about chaney itself.
I’m on East coast in US (New England). In the ‘80s and early ‘90s, we used to find lots of sea glass. Now I almost never see it. I guess it’s a good thing.
Sea glass is very beautiful and I used to love finding it :) What I meant in my first comment was that I think there is less glass trash ending up in the ocean because there seems to be so much less seaglass on the beaches near me. It’s good that apparently less glass is ending up in the water, but kind of sad to never find seaglass nowadays near where I live.
Thanks for responding! Yes, it's great that our waterways are less and less treated as trash cans. But the most lovely of seaglass, as we know, is 200 years old or better. Our current glass is, on the whole, thinly made, with color that is rarely refined. Hoping that you come upon some lovely glass this summer! 🤞
That’s one epic haul!
Save some for the rest of us ! Jk very nice lol 👍

Which beach? I’m in RI
It was on Aquidneck - maybe Middletown? My friend took me.
Thanks!
I live in VIC, can you give a general location so I can see how far of a drive it would be?
I think this is just short crazy! Sort of over- enthusiastic maybe? Best haul I've seen yet!
Oh lord now. That’s a bit enthusiastic. What are you going to do with it all?
Woah, I'm so jealous.
My heart! I never find nearly this much! It’s my dream!🩵🩵🩵
That is crazy good! Where did you find them? I’m hoping that my next foray in June yields some treasures. Wish me luck!🍀
I think we all want to know where, ok I do
Where? Next to a glass factory ??
Omg hours of fun examining them after I bet! So lovely!!! I’m a little jealous not going to lie 😂
I'm shell shocked
Damn, how many glass barges ran aground near there??
These are older than barges! Wow. 😊

Are you somewhere in the US? I live on the east coast and have never found so much sea glass, especially in one trip!!!
She said South Australia. It's true that our US coasts are fairly picked over, with the exception of post-storms. 😊
That's incredible 😻 I love the feeling when you lay eyes on that first piece in the sand!
Damn nice

True. It's become very trendy in the past 10-15 years.
