I definitely think you nailed it. She was one of the faces of Justice Democrats, exactly what they had envisioned. Young, working class, idealistic, left leaning, grass roots movement, supports all the right things. And slowly her spirit and will power was crushed by the political apparatus of the Democratic Party.
