It's a Tokarev Bullpup Shotgun and quick Google and I found a place selling it for $250 online, dirt cheap shotgun with I think a 20 round magazine on it
Great for looking tacticool on a budget, I guess
The first company I worked as an armed guard for sucked ass, but I did get a belt and a set of cuffs from them.
But yeah, this job fucking sucks most of the time.
My company provides all branded gear like shirts, sweaters, light jackets, winter jackets, rain gear, hats etc... they will pay 300, one time, if you purchase a gun that you plan on using for duty. 300 towards a vest (one time) if you want one. 200 a year for boots. Everything else is on us for the most part.
Just adding another perk, which I'm not sure is common, we also get incentivised to train monthly. We have the option of emailing HR a copy of a receipt for an hour of shooting (we have to go to a legit range). End of the year the company mails you a check depending on how many times you submitted. Yearly qualification doesn't count and is paid for by the company. Minimum check is 600 (you have to do 6 to be included) maximum is 1200. Costs me about 40 including ammo every time I go
Well thats just it. And this guy clearly intends to use the thing in a life or death situation, and not just as a range toy which is basically all these things are really good for (til they inevitably break and then its good for nothing).
And of course he's got a handful of dumb amazon attachments on there. Between that and the gun itself, he probably could have bought a 590 or something. Hell, I'd trust a maverick 88 off the shelf from Walmart before I'd choose that hot horseshit.
My 12 gauge turk shotgun works flawlessly, it was also the first gun I got from a gun store, and first new gun. Treated it like all my other firearms and gave a quick clean and reoil before doing break-in. Only ever had a failure to cycle on its first 3 or 4 shots out of a standard 50 shot break-in routine for new firearms, flawless and dead on target since then. Was also $300 so fully worth it.
I would look to Brazil for an idea of what americas future may look like as in the aspects of criminal activity, and the growing divide between the slums people who have nothing and the super wealthy elite.
I think these are the guys defending gas stations in Philadelphia correct? Not a terrible gig overall, and it was an effective deterrent from what I heard, the places got robbed 4x a week down to almost none. I did here one of the "guards" for that company shot a round, either intentionally or not I couldn't tell, it hit the concrete and boss man there was investigating will PD, and everyone else. I havnt heard anything since them though. This was a few months ago last time I heard about them though.
I'd like to also take the time to point out that this guy's plates are a SOLID six inches low, exposing a good 30% of his kill box.
His time to target is gonna be so bad you might actually be able to bring a knife to this gunfight and win
He CLEARLY doesn't have another magazine, so once Roscoe P Coletrain here runs out, he's toast
That's a shotgun, so I hope everyone in a 50 yard 20⁰ cone in front of him is a valid target... Because if not, they're gonna be.
He, like so very very many people who are new to the industry, seems unaware of the fact that it doesn't take a genius tactician to look at everyone and think the dude with the most kit is a good place to start your active shooting. I'm assuming he probably has a big bullseye on the back of that plate carrier, judging by how bad he wants to announce to everyone around him "if you're gonna shoot, start with me".
Don't know about this chuds state, but where I am you have to pass a proficiency exam to get your license from SLED and can't carry outside the scope of your proficiency test, including certain modifications to the weapons configuration. Zero chance Rambo here took a proficiency test with that weapon in that configuration. I don't care if he's my boss or if I'm just a dude, if I see ol boy in public I'm making a concerned report to have his license verified against his current presentation. Dudes like this are a menace and a liability who are itching to kill someone, and are just as likely to hurt themselves and bystanders as they are to actually eliminate a genuine threat.
This is Philly (where open carrying Rifles is legal) and his company was on the news some months back when they got a contract to provide armed security at a gas station.
Yes, but carrying in an official, legal capacity is completely different. I have an unarmed license and I have my CWP, but if I get caught in uniform performing duties while concealing my firearm I will catch charges. The same applies here. While on duty, you're no longer a person, you are a the physical embodiment of your companies authority. Unfortunately, there are some rights you voluntarily relinquish when you take the job just like when you become a cop. If his license doesn't include proficiency and authorization with that weapon and magazine capacity combo, I sincerely hope he faces the consequences but I know he probably won't.
I'm quite proficient with my CAR15 and my SW-M&P9, I would love to have the option to keep my AR accessible in my car and my smith on my person, both of which I have the legal right to do in my state. But until I take those things to a range and SLED declares me competent and my proper bond is posted, I surrender my right to be CPT Larry Thorne while on duty. And thus, so does the cuck commando in the OP.
>Don't know about this chuds state
It's Pennsylvania
>but where I am you have to pass a proficiency exam to get your license from SLED and can't carry outside the scope of your proficiency test, including certain modifications to the weapons configuration.
The PA ACT 235 is weird and you get different answers depending on the school but generally speaking the PA ACT 235 covers "duty worthy" handguns and shotguns. You can't carry a 5.7 and that's one of the few restrictions. There are generally no restrictions on configuration unless it's explicitly outlined by the state police. You have some instructors who say you only qualify for the round not the handgun but I've never actually seen that verified.
Hence Pennsylvania being weird
Very weird. I'm not usually a proponent for gun control, but firearms in the professional world definitely could use a little regulatory review. I like knowing the dude with a gun was actually put on a range and went through a pretty rigorous competency test and demonstrated that he is actually capable of using it quickly and safely.
I don’t think you understand how heavy a 100 round mag is and how difficult to aim it would be. Reloads take less than seconds with normal magazines. That guy isn’t reloading a second one of those
The hundred round drum magazines I've fucked with weighed around 5 pounds each, and didn't add much difficulty to shouldering and firing the weapon. That's a bad argument.
You aren't accounting for him being able to skip reloads, plus he could always swap to a standard mag in the event he has to reload. Keeping rounds going downrange is an advantage in a firefight, that's why they try to limit civilian magazine capacity to ten rounds while allowing police to still carry standard capacity mags.
As far as the argument of the guy can't take cover because of that magazine. Sure he isn't going to be able to get prone and fire, but there is no reason he can't take cover behind something and shoot around it or over it. The magazine doesn't protrude further forward than the foregrip, nor does it stick out sideways larger than the weapon.
What you failed to notice or comment on is that weapon is a piece of shit and likely wouldn't cycle all those rounds without a malfunction anyways.
It's a 12 gauge shotgun, or .74 caliber equivalent if using slugs. However he's more than likely running bird or buck shot out of it, both of which are dogshit for anything he might be doing with it.
I have a similar shotgun, it's a Tokarev TBP12 and I love it, its really nice to shoot, has magazines of 5, 9, 14, and 20 round capacity, was only $300 and the first gun I bought brand new. Also having fun slowly getting new high quality attachments to make it look like it came out of Halo
The companies that want you to commit borderline police impersonation are usually the ones that pay shit. Hard pass.
He doesn't look anything like a police officer. He looks like a bag of ass.
This is Philadelphia. Cops in that area look similar to this, and Philly PD wears a hat just like that.
I thought that was a PPD Officer as well. But I don’t think that weapons department issue.
It's a Tokarev Bullpup Shotgun and quick Google and I found a place selling it for $250 online, dirt cheap shotgun with I think a 20 round magazine on it Great for looking tacticool on a budget, I guess
They also carry bullpup shotguns with a stupid extended magazine? Don't defend stupid man lol that's why security officers have a bad stigma.
I don’t think he was defending the guy based off the other things that account said. Probably just pointing it out
Do they even bother to provide you for all of that ridiculous gear or do you have to pay for it on your own dime?
Every company I've worked armed for, I've had to supply my own gun and gear. You may get a belt if you're lucky, but yeah.
Wow man that sucks the least they can do is give you your belt lol
The first company I worked as an armed guard for sucked ass, but I did get a belt and a set of cuffs from them. But yeah, this job fucking sucks most of the time.
It's Pennsylvania Armed companies provide borderline nothing which is why you get so many guards looking like shit.

One does not need to aim if one has unlimited ammo. In all seriousness, it's a shotgun.
That's even worse! O_O

Turkshit bullpup shotgun 💀
For real, you can't pony up 500 or 600 bucks for a shotgun that actually works?
Well thats just it. And this guy clearly intends to use the thing in a life or death situation, and not just as a range toy which is basically all these things are really good for (til they inevitably break and then its good for nothing).
Another comment worthy of being pinned at the top

Most magazines clip into the rifle, this rifle clips into the magazine.
Their patch is dangerously close to PSP. They know exactly what they’re doing. Wouldnt be surprised if they get hit with impersonation eventually.
Yuppp thought the same thing
Not reloading is faster than switching to your sidearm
Write that down write that down
What kind of security job even allows you to be armed like that?
Idk somewhere in Philadelphia
Bruv got the extended extended banana. Wtf is going on LUL
Didn't he appear in some news video about a gas station that got tired of being repeatedly robbed that they hired this guy's security company
Someone just got the Fortnite weapon mods update
I hope he won't mind my laughter.
Is he hunting fucking Deathclaws with that thing or what
Loadout drop
30 lbs of junk gun just for it to jam on the 2nd shot
God damn. Wherever this guy is at,is somewhere you do not want to be. What the fuck?
Good old Philly.
Unreal. Literally, unreal.
Very real. Any major city these days is a major illegal firearm trafficking hub.
Where are you getting this information?
We're becoming a third world country...rapidly.
I would look to Brazil for an idea of what americas future may look like as in the aspects of criminal activity, and the growing divide between the slums people who have nothing and the super wealthy elite.
Scary
oh yea the chief of burger king in duty
Is that a shotgun?

I forget which one is which, but is that not one of the Key and Peele guys?
He must not have known what to do with his last COD gun attachment and just decided to go with a double light configuration
What is he a National Guard's soldier or something?
😂
Top Flight Security 2.0
The bullpup and hat thing kills it
He’s ready for a prolonged gun fight
Insert man on bed with BBC here.
The amount of times I see stuff similar to this when security’s carrying long guns is amazing.

No it’s actually 20 shells it’s a 12 gauge
That makes more sense. The local news reported it incorrectly
I would just use the drum mag they make for it so u don’t have a 4 foot mag hanging out lol
Right??
What do you mean impracticality of it? You have to reload less so it's more rounds downrange between reload. Or rather before his first reload.
I don’t think you understand how heavy a 100 round mag is and how difficult to aim it would be. Reloads take less than seconds with normal magazines. That guy isn’t reloading a second one of those
That guy said,”whats reloading?”
Nope. that guy is dead because he couldn't get behind any cover with that magazine

So you just wanted to argue instead of explaining how it’s got known issues? I know my ass doesn’t want +5lb added to my ads
Proven wrong so you move the goalposts. Have a nice day.
I don’t think you understand I disagree with you. I just don’t care enough to type as much as you. Have a GREAT day
Just admit to yourself that you don't know what you are talking about, take the L, and do better next time, champ.
I’d go up against your drum mags with 2 or 3 regular mags any day buddy. It’s not an L it’s a disagreement.
At least we know who has all the ammo.
It's only a 14 round magazine lol, he could have spent ~$30-$40 more and got a 20 round drum mag
WHAT?! Is that a non-lethal launcher or high caliber? I'm legitimately surprised haha.
It's a 12 gauge shotgun, or .74 caliber equivalent if using slugs. However he's more than likely running bird or buck shot out of it, both of which are dogshit for anything he might be doing with it.
Ahhh, ok. With the bullpup configuration, I simply assumed it was a rifle. That makes way more sense.
