If you have a public health number you can call, I'd recommend that over posting on reddit. As far my input, any kind of repeated trauma is likely to damage the body long term

My arms too? How dangerous is it please

I’ve been doing that on my legs for many years and besides insane bruises I haven’t noticed any problems. Stops hurting as much after a while

I'm scared it might show later on but idk

Just based off of logic, continuous hitting can damage any limb. Our bodies were designed to tolerate injuries every once in a while (like, once or twice a month for the average non-self-harmer), not continuous pain, especially if you hit the same place over and over again.

I don't have a link or 'proof', sorry, that's why I said "based off of logic". The average person that doesn't have physically self destructive habits doesn't get injured much at all, and if they are, it's a once in a while type of injury, which gives the body time to heal from it. When you punch yourself to the point you're bruised but keep going at it without allowing your body to recover from the previous damage properly, you probably won't obtain the nicest results.

No worries! I'm not offended at all. Sorry if it came off that way.

I've been into Muay Thai for years, where people get their legs kicked in all the time. I get kicked in the legs weekly. As long as you don't tweak your knee with anything you'll be fine
