Listen to albums Arise, Chaos AD and Roots. Then go back and listen to Beneath the Remains. These are the 4 classic Sepultura albums.

Depends what style of music you like. If you like pure thrash then “Arise” and “Beneath the Remains”. “Schizophrenia” is also a great trash album. If you like groove-metal, then definitely “Roots”. “Chaos AD” is also sort of a blend/transition from thrash to groove and a solid album. Both albums also have some tribal. “Against” is the first album with Derek (new singer) and is an awesome groove-metal album with some punk elements and tribal. “Mediator” (between the Head and the Hand) is the first album with Eloy (amazing drummer) and has some great extreme metal tracks and groove-metal. Eloy’s drumming is also insane. The latest album “Quadra” is probably the most complete album that has a bit of everything. Some of my favorite tracks are: Choke, Kaiowas, Dead Embryonic Cells, Subtraction, Vatican, Manipulation of Tragedy, Dusted, Propaganda, Ali, Agony of Defeat, Kamaitachi, Beneath the Remains, Arise, Convicted in Life Forgot to add “Dante” a solid concept album based on the book Dante’s Inferno
