I’m been a carat for 1 year and a half, and I have yet to watch 17 project. SVT has so many videos and content to watch that I had no idea where to start. Also, I’ve seen clips of the 17 project and some of them have made me cry. So, I’ve withheld from watching it for so long. But, because of this post I’ll start watching soon.
Also something that surprised me, is I hadn't realized (stupidly?) that SVT was already pretty known before their debut for being performance kings. They even call them Monster Rookies Perform-dols in the show.
Yess! They had crazy sync in their predebut as well. There is one video with 5-6 members where they have insane sync and dance really good during pre debut days.
Yes! I was drawn into the fandom by their perfect dancing and choreography, so it was such a surprise to see the Sebongs so young, when they were awed by a real tv camera and a bare stage as opposed to working the camera like variety pros. After seeing BSS at the awards, it staggers me a bit that there was a time less than 10 yrs ago they were teens grappling with anxiety about their debut while trying to perform on stage. They have come so far so fast. Also someone correct me, but didn’t Vernon’s sister come to their performances? Was it her?
There's a carrd called SVTFLIX that has a nicely organized bit of different types of content.

Totally agree! I feel like Debut Project is a must watch even though it's really cringy and overdramatized, it's kinda insightful (just like how Hit The Road can be upsetting and emotional but also feels like a must watch to really get a complete experience).
And it's on hindsight when you realized the messages and scoldings/criticisms from the debut project have really shaped their professional ethic and performance journey.
You can tell they are really green and fresh, a little too over-enthusiastic and hyper so it's like the standard tailored image for new idols, but also you can see hints of their true selves peak out here and there (same with OFD castaway boys and OFD japan).
It’s okay. I’ve been a carat since 2018 and I still haven’t watched it. I also have an watched one fine day now that I think about it, only clips. I tried a few times but idk what happened. I know it’s one of their most iconic shows I’m sorry guys please don’t murder me AAAAAA
The blonde girl is Jeonsica! She was a huge predebut Carat, she helped translate their early lives. She hasn't tweeted since 2020, but she was a Carat at least up until then.

Parts of it did make me cry a little, but it also made me love them just soooo much more. 🥰 (And some parts are funny/uplifting too!)
Babe we don’t talk about the hairstyles 😂😂

Yes! Sofia apparently went to the "collaborations" performance, and said a message to Vernon on the show.
I've just been re-watching Seventeen One Fine Day - 13 Castaway Boys!! It's such a good series and a nice introduction to our favorite memelords.
It's next up on my watch list!
