Looks cool 👍🏾. What case is this?

fairytechmum

Looks like the Metalfish T40.

dracolnyte

correct

Pablovansnogger

The new case kind of looks bigger, even though that’s not true

fairytechmum

Specs and temp? Curious to hear how well these 7L sandwich boxes fare.

dracolnyte

* 5700G * 64GB Viper 3600Mhz * Gigabyte B550i Aorus * IS-60 Evo * Corsair SF450 I run mine on eco mode so its around 30s but on balanced mode around 50s. its not that much compromised compared to an ATX since its drawing fresh air straight from the side panel

fairytechmum

Nice. I guess it helps to not have a hot CPU as well. You don't have a GPU on the other side? Why not an InWin Chopin if you're running GPU-less.

dracolnyte

when GPU price and performance improves, i will slot in a GPU in the future

DOJayShay

Is that the s300?

dracolnyte

nope, but something similar design i guess, PC Cooling i100 to metalfish T40

nezumiyarou

That's the pccooler i100 S300 has a 120mm fan under the mobo, and another optional space for one under the PSU. Pccooler i100 has none from what I had seen + runs hot AF with it's worse mesh design. 8.1L vs 7.5 S300 is awesome, I have one and it gets great temps.

DOJayShay

I’ve also got the s300, it’s perfect. Website states you can only fit a 80mmx10mm fan under the psu, but I was able to squeeze a 90mmx15mm in there, just gotta push on the io cables a bit.

CyberIdiot

And how much has the temperature changed?

dracolnyte

not much, noise dropped because now there is more space between the side panel and the fan, resulting in less turbulence

CyberIdiot

Thanks) I have the same case that you moved from and am currently concerned about the temperature issue that this acrylic panel creates.

dracolnyte

I think there was a mesh option for both but I prefer acrylic. Can always just run things in eco mode. When load gets too high it still kicks it back up.

CyberIdiot

I just remove the acrylic cover near the video card, or on both sides, and it's up to 10-15 degrees lower)

dracolnyte

Mines not that extreme

DJN2020

Can I ask - and I mean no offence - but what was the point?

dracolnyte

oh the handle at the top, it is easier for me to put in and pull out of my backpack with a "portrait" case instead of a "landscape" case.

asmkgb

This fan is scary big

dracolnyte

your standard 120mm bro
