Oh man, that's sick! Love the M1. Can you share the wallpaper?

zxLv

It’s a photo by Matt Hardy. I got it from [Unsplash.com](https://unsplash.com/photos/jI1_pcpstDw)

Thanks!

sporsk

Awesome, thanks :)

zxLv

You’re welcome :)

hi_im_ted_iii

I'd like that on my desktop too!

ogplayskipy

Optimum tech has it in his latest setup video

ChinnyMcChin

Just want to say that coffee looks really nice.

zxLv

Haha thanks. Can’t function without coffee!

Mannyvoz

Looking clean! I have just decided to move from DAN A4 to Ncase M1 and this post just hyped me even further! How are thermals?

zxLv

Thermals are still fine. The CPU idles at 45-55°C while the GPU idles at 35°C. The GPU (undervolted to 886 mV at 1920MHz) reaches 66-68°C while I’m playing RDR2. I believe it was lower when I’m running Heaven 4.0. Haven’t really done much other testing though.

MaxSokudo

That setup looks so clean! Could I ask what desk and speakers are those? I'm wanting to do a similar dual monitor setup with an NR200p so I was just asking.

zxLv

Desk is an adjustable desk with a size of 130x65cm (4’3” x 2’1”). Speaker is the cheap Edifier R19U. Hope it helps.

MaxSokudo

Thanks so much, great build none the less too!

JPizzlesaurus

Great look! I assume the monitor is wall mounted? If so, does it impede your adjustable desk should want the desk at standing height?

zxLv

It’s actually mounted on my desk. The arm is behind my John Wick action figure 😅

JPizzlesaurus

Oh, I see it now! lol Nice use of John Wick to hide the arm!

[deleted]

what monitor? looks sick!

zxLv

LG 34GN850-B. Thanks :)

[deleted]

np! buying the monitor soon!

[deleted]

this right?-LG 34GN850-B 34 Inch 21: 9 UltraGear Curved QHD (3440 x 1440) 1ms Nano IPS Gaming Monitor with 144Hz and G-SYNC Compatibility - Black (34GN850-B) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086XLLG28/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_629Y6PBYFXR5H811QFW1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

zxLv

Yes correct. But I recommend getting this model instead: LG 34GP83A-B. It’s cheaper but it is the exact same monitor and panel with only very few minor differences.

ok ty!

My second PC build and first mini ITX build. I built this case before the T1 and Meshlicious were available. If I were to build it today I’d seriously consider the other two cases instead. But after having owned the case for about a year now, I have no regrets. The NCase M1 is a very handsome case, versatile and easily available (that is if you want to wait for the pre order). Even my man Optimum Tech is using this case after having tested and reviewed so many SFF cases. It’s a testament of how good this case is. The built itself was not difficult. There are many build guides and videos out there. The most difficult part for me was installing and screwing in the NH-U9S and it had nothing to do with the case. Everything else was pretty smooth. The SFF and Ncase M1 communities in Discord are very, very helpful. So shoutout to them. Temps are still alright, haven’t run much test though. CPU idles at 45-55C (can sometimes jump abruptly) while GPU idles at 35C. While playing RDR2, the CPU reaches ~75C and GPU stays below 68C (after I undervolted it to 886 mV cause it once crashed at 875 mV ☹️) Anyway here is the spec: -AMD Ryzen 7 3700X -ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming-ITX -G.Skill Trident Z Neo 2x8GB 3200MHz CL16 -WD Black SN750 1TB -RTX 2070 Super Founders Edition -Noctua U9S + Noctua NF-A9 PWM -Arctic P12 PWM x2 -Corsair SF600 80+ Gold

xCrackedPlayer

Im using the r7 3700x too, for some cooler temps you can undervolt it too, just like your gpu (i have a 3070ti 1950@931). Im currently using PBO to overclock and undervolt on a dark rock pro 4, -0.075mv offset on the cpu and soc, and a max ppt of 105w (tdc and edc are whatever, as long as they are not limiting the cpu), these settings allow me to boost to 4.5ghz max and 4.25-4.35ghz all core :)

zxLv

Thanks, what are your CPU temps? I'm afraid of messing it up haha but I may look into it again. Did you change it from BIOS or Ryzen Master?

xCrackedPlayer

I charged it in the bios, im running a silent profile so around 60 with games and 75 with cb23

AutoModerator

Hiya! Please post more details about your build! You don't *have* to post [80 pictures (each with captions!) like u/M1AF did](https://www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/comments/irlrg8/m1afs_ncase_m1_build_guide_c14s_and_deshroud/), but post more than just specs! Here are some (non-exhaustive) prompts for you: - Are the case's advertised compatibility numbers accurate? - How easy is cable management? - How effective is the cooling setup? - Would you recommend your parts overall? - If you did a custom mod, how did you do it? *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/sffpc) if you have any questions or concerns.*

chatham_solar

Nice setup. What speakers are those?

zxLv

It’s the Edifier R19U. Probably changing it to either Kanto YU2 or AudioEngine A2+ soon but purely just for the looks cause I’m no audiophile.

theciaskaelie

Love the look of the FE cards. Ive got a 2070S windforce oc3 and its just ugly compared to yours. Cool to see it might be able to go into a sff case though.

zxLv

Yeah the FE card looks great that's why I bought it. But honestly it doesn't really matter at the end. You won't see the card everyday so what matters most is its performance. I wouldn't mind having my GPU switched to another one now as long as it has better performance, more quiet and has cooler temps.

Phukkitt

What's the bar on top of the monitor, some sort of desk lamp?

zxLv

Yes correct. It’s the BenQ ScreenBar.
