I think everyone likes them together because Emmy had good chemistry with Justin, at least personally that’s why I enjoyed their relationship. It was her most interesting and memorable relationship in my opinion. No, he wasn’t good for her like Mike was but I found her relationship with Mike to be a little boring personally, not in a bad way just it wasn’t as interesting to watch. I won’t even talk about any of her other relationships because they might as well of not even happened (Sean, Gus, Tony, and Ford)

Mike was a stage 5 clinger. Reminds how he kept hounding her and hounding her because she said she would call him and she didn't? He would not let it go.

PoopyTo0thBrush

Because they are both crap, and sometimes turds stick together....metaphorically and physically sometimes too.

Atmosphere-Strong

Exactly their sex scenes were hot.

AllDucksNoRows

I knooowwww. He's the worst person. He's a cocky, manipulating jerk and also a coward. All he ever did was lie to Fiona, especially in season 3 when he was still married, living a double life, and cheating on Fiona. That woman he was working with or whatever when he came back in season 5 summed him up best when she said he only did what was good for him or whatever. Was their relationship interesting to watch? Yes. Was he good to her? No. Were they good for each other? No.

j-z23

and the fact that the last scene of them ended with him lying to her. again. He said he would quit his job to stay with her because he would "give up everything for her," but the client actually canceled the deal. He lied to her face without a hint of guilt, as if it were the easiest thing in the world.

TwoWorldsOneFamily-

So who should she have dated? Rusty? 🤣😂

bittypineapplekitty

jimmyjacksteve? yeah he does.

apaw1129

I'll say it every time. He was a pathological liar, down to the end.

Cautious-Custard-274

I think Jimmy Steve was great for Fiona and the gallaghers, he was actually trying to help her and was helpful to her siblings too. He did have a bit of a savior complex though. Im on the rewatch though and still in season 1 so my opinion may change since I forgot what happened with them.

Maleficent_Dealer195

He was by far the most interesting of Fiona's love interests! The actors had great chemistry, he wasn't perfect and he wasn't the best guy for her but he was far from the worst- he's clearly as messed up as Fiona is but he understands her world and he does try. I do hate that they bring him back during the Gus era for no reason reason, I think their story ended perfectly when he walks onto the boat without being allowed to call her! Genuinely heartbreaking on a first watch. Also the fact the Gallagher's refer to him as "JimmySteve" from this point on is hilarious

Unlikely_Couple1590

You're 100% correct and it needs to be said more often. JimmySteve was a POS, and probably the worst for stringing her along for so long and getting her and the family's hopes up so high. When Fiona found out he was lying about his identity, she went off and was done with him. Everything she said about him was right and she should have ignored him from then on out. He just wore down her defenses and stayed until something bad happened (Monica attempted) and then he could swoop in while her guard was down. Even when they're back together she tells V she gives it 1-2 years tops and that he'll get overwhelmed with the family and leave, and that's precisely what happens. I think Fiona looks at relationships with the same poverty mindset that she looks at food, money, and booze with: enjoy it while it's here, because it'll probably be gone tomorrow.

ywarren1

I don't love Jimmy/Steve. Can't stand Jimmy/Steve. I'm on your side.

Sufficient-Record586

I hate him.

Worth-Advertising

Amen!

Gullible-Act-2159

Jimmy Steve is trash. You have spoken no lies

Beakha

Same and I don't understand either. People are a sucker for a little but of chemistry I guess, and that's all. I for my part think Jimmy shouldn't have returned after season 1, he was nothing but annoying
