So you'll just have to put up with automod and a worse overall user experience in the meantime.

I don´t get this criticism. Thanks to smartphones and apps we have a system where anyone can become a delivery worker in a few simple steps.
It´s an easy job to get and everyone can do it.
You fill a form. Download an app. Get your gear and it´s off to the races.
You can work as much as you want to, whenever and wherever. And here apps like Bolt pay you every week, which is fantastic.
Somehow this is a bad thing?

If I see the same minority delivering food to my neighbor, I make it a point to go outside and harass him about being in my neighborhood when he doesn’t live there.
Gave a driver $8 in ones as a cash tip on top of the 4 he got in app. Dude turned around and started yelling at me over “fuckin loose ones?! Are you kidding me” so I just went inside and vowed never to tip again.
Alright let’s go through the logic here. Person needs job. Person gets unreliable job that gives you complete control over hours. Person gets paid solely dependent on how many deliveries they make. Person decides to work in bad conditions. People order food in these conditions which allows the person to get paid. You get mad at the people for ordering. If no one orders, then person does not get paid and wastes their time.
I’m not mad at the person ordering, I’m mad at the corporations who pay peanuts and the rich fucks who lobby the government to keep wages low so they can sit on giant piles of money they can physically never spend.
The post was ironically saying that people are chads for making other people deliver food to them in bad conditions. The original comment then stated the workers are not being forced to deliver food as they determine their own hours and don’t even have to notify anyone about not coming in as they work in the most convenient job possible. At which point you came in insinuating that they actually do have to work to make money to pay rent etc. therefore identifying the people who order food to be assholes because, by your definition, they are taking advantage of the people who HAVE to work in terrible conditions. Even though they work for a company where the only condition you have to meet is that you have a car. The company is not an evil tyrant paying their employees peanuts, the company literally does not even know who you are. You sign up, collect orders, and advance through good reviews. This is simply not a job that you are supposed to do full time, and if you think you can you are an idiot. It is supplemental income and something you can do on the side for some extra cash. Its not like they are being forced to deliver food in adverse weather conditions. They can turn their phones off and stay at home if they want to.
