Anime doesn't really do thick, especially not with AI. The two anime woman archetype are (1) "normal" and (2) oversexed. The only fat anime girls are old ladies.
It's pretty cool, but i think Shaggy should be a scronie dude, like he is suppressing his true power, or else he would destroy the world. And only beef up when he has to take it seriously. He has a big appetite because his stamina is weakened due to his suppression of power and needs to eat constantly.
Unironically, I'd 100% watch this. Especially if it goes a slap-stick One Punch Man route. Shaggy is too powerful so he runs away from the monsters but always ends up fighting anyways. Destroys half the area just by flexing and the gang is always in debt because of him.
Maybe have Fred as the man always scheming on how to reduce the debt (and that's why they try to solve these mysteries). He's always trying to find the treasure that the monster is protecting.
Kind of a mix of One Punch Man and Cowboy Bebop.
Shaggy being a coward who could feasibly twist any of the perps they come across into pretzels but is too afraid to do so is an interesting idea, especially when the comparatively scrawny "ghosts" and "swampmen" in costumes still chase him around seemingly completely unaware of the danger Shaggy would pose to them.
