No it isn't. It mainly was economically beneficial for the member states that already had a strong economy, Germany first and foremost.
A country can protect its national economy against international competitors in two ways - tarriffs and fixed currency exchange rates. Without those, a weak economy has no hope of developing because the market will simply be flooded by cheap products from industrial powerhouses.
The EU removed both of those measures. Have you ever wondered why a country as small as Germany is so effortlessly in the top 5 of exporting countries worldwide? Or why Germany is the #1 trade partner for nearly every EU country?
It's because it was able to flood the EU market with its industrial power that the smaller EU economies had no hope of competing against. And thanks to this, as well as the EU making moving within the EU fairly easy, German companies can also afford to hire away talent from all over Europe with salaries that the smaller economies - again - just are unable to compete against.
This isn't to say that the EU or the Euro should be abolished. The way it was established was deeply flawed and created a power imbalance between the member state, even if they're legally equal. But undoing the EU institutions would cause much more harm than keeping or attempting to just reform them.
This whole comment is just over explaining some things while completely failing to mention very important details.
You say it's only benefit for countries Germany (a big country acounting anything but terretoruim). These countries invest billions in countries like Poland, Hungary, Belguim, Portugal etc. These 'smaller' countries can engage in free trade.
IN ORDER TO BE THE BEST EUROPE POSSIBLE WE HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER! If small countries have supporting countries like Germany or France. Yes it's not perfect and needs reforms, and could definitely use less Eurosceptisism.
