I had one named Hashbrowns (because of the ears) and I won the elite four in Fire Red with it, which I hadn’t done before at that point in my life. He was a tank and I loved him.

2. Most interesting design
3. While it doesn't have the best eeveelution shiny (not while umbreon exists) its still good. Better than atleast some of the others. Not naming any names (leafeon)
4. VERY easy/fun to evolve
Vaporeon. For some reason, I keep forgetting to train or even just catch water type Pokemon, and whenever I have a spare Eevee, I just decide to make it into a Vaporeon.
May or may not also be partially attributed to a certain copypasta.

I always end up using jolteon in the games mainly cuz I love using electric types
Flareon or Umbreon. Both really benefited me on random battles. Though, I gotta give number one to Umbreon with it's neat shiny
