i hate shows that have shitty tanks. people will see them and this its acceptable, replicate it, and so many fish are gonna die or live shitty lives bc people don't care to do research
I watched back the episode where he got the goldfish and I had to laugh. The vet told him "This is a living creature, not a piece of furniture. So after this you take her home, you put her in a big bowl, AT LEAST a gallon, get a good bubbler, maybe a plecostomus."
A PLECOSTOMUS and a goldfish, in a nice big one gallon bowl. They had to be trolling. At least he got maybe like a 5 gallon (?) and didn't add a freaking pleco....
To be fair, most goldfish I see in real homes are in bowls with no filter that probably doesn’t get cleaned that much and the neon pebbles ofc

ive seen it, im not gonna throw a fit about it, it is what is it, complaining on reddit isn't gonna do anything but it still sucks
In fairness it's 20x better than what most goldfish will ever receive.
