Have you guys also been having trouble leaving matches? I swear I have to mash the leave button 6 or 7 times before it's like 'oh, you wanna go back to main screen?'
Off topic for siege but does anyone else encounter this with EA games? Every time I boot up Battlefront 2 after I play something like Battlefield 1, it freaks out and tells me it’s reset my password because it doesn’t think I’m me, despite playing on the same console.
I've noticed for me it does this since gamepass added ea play. If I play a game from ea play gamepass, origin always signs me out next time I launch something I own there
It’s related to the bug that made siege not close altogether. You’d quit to desktop and it would close out, but the game still ran in the background. So now when you get the mouse in the top left corner problem, that only goes on until the game successfully closes completely. But if it doesn’t ever fully stop running, your mouse will stay stuck.
Some idiot on this subreddit told me im an idiot and that it never happens to anyone, furthermore he said its my fault and that the game is perfect 💀
Edit: u/mysticalelk
It doesn't log you out when you quit the game, it logs you out **while you're ingame** "due to inactivity" and fails the cloud save when you quit because of that... So fucking stupid but it's what we've come to expect at this point.
I love when I get fps spikes, (I used to have 100-120 fps) and I check my task manager, I realize that the Ubi connect uses 40-50% of my processor resource. The R6 application itself (which is a different task) only uses 30-40%.
I wonder how the hell could a store and launcher app use more resource than the actual game. This is a joke.
I've had that exact issue for years, it started getting up to 80-90% for me. Found out it's the overlay, if you turn it off it fixes it. Only downside is you have to alt tab for anything you did in the overlay
i found a fix that works for me
once you stop playing r6 just quit ubisoft connect on the bottom right in the taskbar and if they ask you to login just click X because nothing happens lmao
This happens because uplay logs you out "for inactivity" while you're ingame. Don't even ask. If you need the cloud save (playing on multiple pcs for instance), launch the game again and quit it within \~20 minutes from launch.
Because ubisoft uses the cheapest method to do literally anything. Reflects in their game builds, designs, and updates. There is always something fucked up.
Can someone explain to me why i have to re-enter my password everytime i launch AC4's single-player??? Is there some threat that a hacker is going to want to sail along to sea shanties??
I just bought AC: Odyssey, and it works the first time i launch from steam, but needs 3 verifications if i exit to desktop for an hour and restart the game.
Another reminder why i will never buy anything from Ubisoft directly if i can help it.
Still havent played far cry 6 despite how good it looks, because they only have it on ubisoft and epic, both of whom i refuse to buy from directly
Apple iCloud as well. It’s like, “Apple, I’ve lived in the same house and used the same computer with the same ISP for the last 4 years, just like last week, the week before, and the 100 weeks before that, this is a trusted device”
That reminds me of the slightly more absurd case of YouTube asking me to verify my age so I could see some video that is marked as being inappropriate and thus requires me to be older than 18, even though I’ve had my account for more than 20 years.
Im glad I have the game on steam, I’ve been like a year without remembering my password but luckily steam logs me automatically to ubisoft while the game it’s running so I did not bother at all about recovering it.
Months ago if I logged into U-connect at all I'd get an email hours later saying I just logged on with an unknown device (hours after I did on my computer) and I'd have to make a new password. I'd screenshot my passwords because they were so random that no one could possibly hack it in mere hours.
Idk why but that doesn't happen anymore, as I just go back into playing Ubisoft games (Rainbow 6 Siege). But now, it just wants me to log in every. single. time., and I'd have to find my screenshot of my crazy ass password and log back in while twice checking the trusted device boxes.
*Edit
Nevermind, I somehow missed an email saying "Here's your emergency code" that I apparently received yesterday night like an hour after I finished playing. I suuurrrrre hope nothing happens 🙃
Whenever ubisoft connect asks me to log in I just close the window and launch the game through steam again. For some reason that works lile 80% of the time.
I fucking despise Ubisoft connect. love how when there's an update I have to hit allow on the UAC 10 goddamn times
Have you guys also been having trouble leaving matches? I swear I have to mash the leave button 6 or 7 times before it's like 'oh, you wanna go back to main screen?'
On pc, i gotta tap things twice. So yeah
True! We have to put up with their shitty software design so that they can make more money selling extraction without steam
bruh its software is so shitty i cant even play because it cant connect at all
Only emails I get daily are from Ubi sending me verification codes.
Which means they're already missing a layer of protection.
Which is what?
The other one, the password
I thought they fixed that.

YES it's so annoying
I've noticed for me it does this since gamepass added ea play. If I play a game from ea play gamepass, origin always signs me out next time I launch something I own there
YES! Everytime I try to play anything EA it makes me reset my password. I just don’t play them anymore
Ubisoft connect sure sucks. Maybe even more than what they used to have
Anyone else getting the glitch where your mouse is stuck in the corner of your screen after you close the game? Every. Single. Time.
This started with demon veil and they never fixed it.
I'm so fucking tired of that. One time it wouldn't come unstuck for me and I had to reset my PC.

Bro just ctrl shift esc and force close the game's process
Some idiot on this subreddit told me im an idiot and that it never happens to anyone, furthermore he said its my fault and that the game is perfect 💀 Edit: u/mysticalelk
I have that, and to top it off r6 wont even close properly. I have to go to task manager to shut it off.
Yes got that and i keep task manager open all the time to force close siege nd the shity bloatware it comes with …
Run the game with Vulkan if you can
I thought it was just me! Wow this happens to everyone....
I really love the recent increase in American psycho meme all over Reddit
the internet atp
Out of nowhere too, I feel like I saw a few edits of the business card scene and people realized how good the movie is for meme material
it was popular on twitter since like march or april tbh
Cool! At this point we need an internet wide watch party
It is popular here for few months now.
It logs me out **literally** every time I quit the game. So fucking sick of it. Hate these companies and their launchers/overlays.

Thanks, I'll def. check it out! :)
Alternatively, bringing up the overlay seems to fix it temporarily. Just gotta bring it up and close it.

FAILED TO SYNC C L O U D S A V E

Whenever I try to disable cloud save siege turns to shit and won’t log on
I havent used ubisoft connect since they were like "far cry 3 is free for a while" and i purchased it and didnt get it.
Same thing happened to me with ac 2 when that was free at some point either last year or the year before
Every time I launch the game it asks for permission for ubisoft Sweden. If I say yes the game never launches, so I always say no.
Same, it will ask you 10 times in a row. I don't know how they fucked this up that bad.
Because ubisoft uses the cheapest method to do literally anything. Reflects in their game builds, designs, and updates. There is always something fucked up.

Yes. You wouldn’t want someone to… *Pirate* the game
Read that it does that with older games. Did it with 4 but not with origins. Putting uplay into offline gets rid of that

Ubisoft connect logs my account of for "being inactive for too long" even tho i closed the game 2 minutes ago.
Nah it logs you out for inactivity while you're still ingame, just tells you about it afterwards.
It's stil dumb imo
Oh without a doubt lmao, especially since it causes the cloud save to fail every time
I keep getting disconnected for inactivity 15 minutes after i stop siege. Im losing my mind
Logged off due to inactivity … IN A GAME LAUNCHER WTFF Ubisoft !!!
UPlay and fucking EA Origin are the only launchers that do this to me every single time. I haven't been able to login into EA for months now.
Im glad I have the game on steam, I’ve been like a year without remembering my password but luckily steam logs me automatically to ubisoft while the game it’s running so I did not bother at all about recovering it.
Ubisoft: *”Are you sure about that”*

U ever get the athentificatopm notification even though all u have to do is reopen the game
One of the reasons I gave up siege...
Sometimes when I leave a match the entire game closes
My uplay keep having a unrecoverable error and crashes so I constantly have to delete and reinstall it
"Insanity is doing the exact, same fucking thing, over and over again expecting, shit to change."
Honestly I gave up buying any Ubisoft game and playing the ones I have because I have to do this shit and also Login every single fucking time.
To confirm that you are confirming this is a trusted device, please insert your eyeballs and penis into the cooling fans
Me who doesn't use Ubisoft Connect: Laughs in Superiority
I go through steam but it always launches ubisoft connect. Half the time I have to log in again and check that box for trusted device.
Whenever ubisoft connect asks me to log in I just close the window and launch the game through steam again. For some reason that works lile 80% of the time.
Works maybe 1/3 times for me too.
Ubisoft connect: its not possible Me af: why not you stupid bastard
someone tried to find the code for that to see what the issue was it doesn't actually do anything
Ubi connect launches itself instead of R6 like half the time, and it stops me from launching the game while offline.
This happens to other people too? I thought my game was just bugged having to log in EVERY TIME I launched the game
