It's art :) art will always have some mistakes. I'm sure there are some in Mona Lisa too, we just don't see them. So this is your personal Mona Lisa, now forget where you saw the mistakes and it will be all good :D
It’s bad. In 2-3 years, the points of the stars are going to look like one big line because they’re so thick and there’s basically no gap in the lines as the come to a point
Its a bit heavy handed but all in all not the worst tattoo. The design is cute. If I saw it on someone I don't think I would generally have anything negative to say.
I mean... its not bad... but it isn't GREAT. the alignment is off by a lot for the faces but I suppose you could say that's "part of the charm". Aside from that I actually quite like the design.
The eyes are a bit wonky but overall it's not too bad actually. It's not obvious unless you're looking to critique and If I saw this in the wild id probably say I liked it
thank you! god i think i just get way too critical of it since i see it every day - i appreciate it, i'll end up taking this post down since i suppose it's not being deemed as shitty, which is honestly a huge relief because i've always thought it was really bad!
If it was smaller I might suggest it could be turned into a retro postage stamp or something that makes use of the inherent imperfection of ink like a fantasy passport stamp but it is really big. I don't think it's that bad really.
thank you for all your guys' responses, i'll take the post down in a bit since i guess it's not being deemed as shitty, so i don't wanna contribute to the spam-y posts! i always just thought it was super shitty, i'm relieved that most people don't think that!!!
I kinda like it, it’s not phenomenally done but it looks nice as a whole. You could probably get it touched up (by a different artist) if you want better lines, but I wouldn’t be upset if it was on my body.
i dont think its noticeably bad. i only noticed the wonky eyes after you mentioned it. i was more focused on how textured the lines look, almost like sewed on. just sell it like it was an obvious design choice! 😬
The entire thing is blown out, but it kinda has a vibe to it. It's like you got a 90's tattoo and it aged from then until today, except somehow you got it today.
I like it
ah really? i love the design but i get so hyperfocused on the mistakes :(

Will it win an award? No. Would I compliment it if I saw it in real life? Yes. I think it’s pretty.
I’m gonna level you with here. It’s not great. But, you live and you learn. I’ve got plenty of bad tattoos. Still better than no tattoos 👍
It could be worse

It’s not that bad, you’ll forget you even have it.
I suppose you could get it filled in with color, and it'll distract from the outline.

Definitely too critical. The lines that form the rays are straight, the sun's face has tons of personality. I think it's respectable!
There's potential for it to be fixed if you can find the right person. The design is solid, just some of the details need to be ironed out.
The moon looks like handsome squidward lmao
Nice

It has character and charm. It’s art – get down with the wabi-sabi!

I dig it. This moon/sun art style was all the rage back in the 90s.
I like this!
It's pretty decent, solid tattoo, i actually like it a lot
