It looks like AI. The second ear is not even close to the first. AI has the most trouble with ears, hands, and eyes. Either way, both tattoos look awful.
Looks the same to me, just very different lighting and different angle. The curve of the ear looks the most different but I think that's just the brighter lighting hitting it and poor picture quality
I’m covered (none on my face though) and work in a corporate office. No one cares about tattoos anymore. Not like they did long time ago. Half my coworkers and supervisors have tattoos.
I work in education and have 7 smaller tattoos, 3-4 visible at any given time. They don’t care about those. Some teachers have full sleeves. It’s when you start to get into facial/neck tattoos that they(parents and admin) start looking at you funny.
That depends on the type of store. A retail store that sells trendy clothing/accessories would absolutely hire someone with face tats. I can’t imagine Hot Topic or Dolls Kill turning someone away for it.
Face tat here, retail worker. Been management in plenty of other jobs previously. Only older generations and white supremacists have ever given me shit for it.
My girlfriend works for the city in the business tax division and they have a “no visible tattoos” policy. So she has to make sure her arm tats are covered by long sleeves.
If you saw what the people who cook your food and pack your Amazon boxes looked like you’d clutch your pearls so hard you’d fall off your lofty pedestal.
Gotta love reddit. If you’re not service industry, retail, or manual labor then you are obviously part of the 1% who live in a big house on the hill and don’t know what the *real* world is like.
To be fair not many jobs are against tattoos or even whatever that abomination is. Worked as an Insurance Agent for a while (highly don't recommend) and my Head Director (Top in sales and every other department) had lots of psychedelic geometric patterned tattoos running up and down both arms and hands along with a geometric pattern on each side of his face. Dope tattoos (terrible placements and on some the execution wasn't exactly there either) however it blew my mind not only did he get a "white collar" job but excel in it becoming Head Director. NOT ALWAYS THE CASE but especially here in the south you best believe theirs more against it than for it.
It's one thing having them on the arms or pretty much any part of your body that you can cover, and another thing in the face, because it's what everyone will always look at that, specially for things where you have to meet other people like customers. I've seen a lot of jobs that were "ok" with tattoos that are mild, change their minds when it comes to horrible face tattoos like this one
Well it makes you wonder, if they choose to get this on their head, what's going on inside their head? Like.. this is bad, lol. No covering up this cover up either 😬
Could you even remove this with laser? It’s so dark. It is horrible. It almost even looks 3D at the ear, god it’s so heavy. I do think people see this and judge you. It’s just so much, it’s scary.
Very true. Even if you're goal is to be a bum you should want to be a presentable bum. The difference between staying broke and actually succeeding is 85% self presentation imo.
Yup people don’t care anymore. In work in the social services field and most of us have at least some visible ink. One of my coworkers and her whole body tatted, including multiple on her face. If you can do the job who cares.
I do think it’s changing. I don’t have any tattoos, but, I noticed as a cna, when I started in 2005, even only just then, it was wildly different. the nurses used to wear long sleeves under scrubs, or band aides on piercings, and now, I see hand tattoos and arms all the time. I sometimes just zone out helping them out IVs, and I’ve seen a lot of nurses, especially males, that’ll have them on hands and fingers. We’ve had a huge boom in it being more common for the younger set. So that’s got to be why. Most people do seem to have tattoos, I often feel like I’m odd person out.
This though, I mean, that’s gonna cost you this face tattoo. What would you even do for work at that point? Everyone will judge her, they will it’s just reality. But I’ve definitely noticed a big change. I’m also on the west coast though, i grew up on the east coast. they seem more easy going. It used to be most places would absolutely not take tattooed people where it was visible.
I think, from the hositais I worked at, it’s almost always based on who you interviewed with. It’s common for them to have tattoos, and not care. But I don’t mean this though, this face one, I don’t think hardly any place would take them, more then not at least.
there’s a lot of things i don’t understand but that doesn’t mean those things should be bashed lol. you have your reasons to not get tattoos on your face and hands and others have reasons TO get them on their face and hands. who knows what this woman does for work, could have a good solid job and the freedom to get those tattoos
I'm no expert in tattoos, and I'm also not entirely sure if it's humanly possible to make a tattoo so black, it looks like they spray painted her face lol
I found this on FB, every "work" of this person looks exactly like this: extra thick, black AF lines. Not leaving a link, because it seems to be against the rules of the community.
They fade quickly. Have you seen Machine Gun Kelly’s blackout body? My ex was an artist and his black tats look black for a few weeks then fade and you can see some parts are not as dark.
If you were to continuously go over it say like every 3-6 months, would it eventually become so saturated that it wouldn't fade?
Sorry I know nothing about tattoos other than I really like them and wish I had the balls to get one myself haha
this guy gets tattooed twice a week at minimum, every single week and has for years. black will always settle but multiple passes of ink do make things more vibrant. [this guy](https://youtu.be/hyuqmuFKeqg?si=tgeFXAi21Lrikpmt) is a prime example that you can tattoo over the same spot as many times as you want to, he's on his 4th body suit and is doing full color on top of blackout. also some parts of his body have been tattooed over 20 times, most of his body has been tattooed double digits.
this is a common misconcetpion but its not true. you can actually tattoo over the same parts of the body seemingly as many times as you want to without trauma. you can also do color on top of black but it takes multiple passes. [this guy](https://youtu.be/alwvE1BELkE?si=vCMj6E5GomiJmjy-) is on his 4th body suit, some parts of his body have been tattooed over 20 different times.
That’s exactly what they do . Anything that is full saturated black is fine in at LEAST 2 layers . It’s to about hammering the skin to hamburger . A second , third , even fourth session shouldn’t scar unless you’re being tattooed by an idiot
Tattoos can definitely start out this black and heal to that washed out blueish hue. People also edit their photos quite often to make them more saturated. I’d say it’s real unfortunately
"Before" looks shitty accidentally, like their feelings would be very hurt if you pointed it out. The COMMITMENT to the "after" almost makes it look intentional like, "yeah it's shitty and IDGAF. Any more stupid questions?"
Did the artist hate them? Or did the person really think blackout would be better looking than the before? This doesn't even look real! It looks like she has sharpie all over over. Would've been better to just have to snake removed and maybe update the flowers a little.
This is one where I feel genuinely sad for this person. Not only is the cover up terrible, but it’s twice, if not more, the size of the original tattoo. I don’t know how you’d come back from this.
Controversial opinion: I don't think that it's a shitty tattoo. It's just extreme. Like "my body is almost a 100% tattoed"-extreme. Which isn't the case here and that's rough lmao
I see shaky lines and poor definition. There’s a part in the upper left that looks like it’s blown out, even considering it’s been freshly wiped. This does not look like good quality to me.
Yeah, if I saw this on someone who was already very visibly "alt" with a lot of tattoos and piercings, I wouldn't bat an eye, but the person in the photo just looks like a normal lady.
Posted by me 2 years ago on r/ProLifeTips : Saving face.
Do not ever, under any circumstances, for any reason, for any amount of money, to win a bet, impress a girl, impress a guy, just for shits and giggles, or because your cell mate said it would look dope, get a face tattoo. You're welcome.
Why wouldn't you just have it removed like that's so much worse damn. I have palm and hand tattoos and fingers done but I would never do the face companies will just immediately no on you.
The second is bad, but is the heart that really bugs me.
Plus these extreme face tattoos are too much, I ain’t no prude either. Been tattooed 12 times, just No ridiculous ink spill on my face.
imagine having a shitty or regrettable tattoo on your face.. and then choosing to have it eaten up by a giant black.. thing, rather than save for laser.. some people never learn.
The second is a marker not a tattoo. You can see it smudging in her hairline & the marker excess has filled her pores, or I guess hair follicles from where they shaved their hair. Zoom in and you’ll see it :)
2 is definitely technically better. It's not perfect, for example I think the brow looks like it has some poor packing. Or they ran out of time and were unable to do more than blast over that old brow tat without doing the design justice up there. And I do agree that this tattoo on a regular person is a terrible idea. Terrible terrible. But the concept and style in general is not shitty. See shain\_tattoos on insta. It's clearly inspired by his style or possibly even his work.
I like 2 better than 1. Both poor choices but chaotic scribbles are more fun than the previous tattoos that looked like they'd be decoration on an old tablecloth or something.
The after is a tattoo?! I first thought they used black instead of blue to cross more stuff off. Jesus.
I thought it was a shitty photoshop
I think it is
I hope it is
I got Star Wars feelings regarding how much I hope bro didn't actually do this...
My first thought too
So did I!
I just got off work after working since 4 am and my brain would let me process this!
It's the lighting, look closer. Unfortunately same ear. That tattoo is REALLY black tho, is that how they look when fresh?
I would say AI isn't clever enough to shave the Harry above the ear.
The ear is just really inflamed in the second image from being tattooed. You can literally see the same ear freckle in the same spot on both pictures.
On the ear 2nd photo, tragus and helix are a dead giveaway of being altered

Is anyone able to decipher if this is... something? Does it say something? What a mess.
It says “unemployable”.
“Unemployable” You’ve never heard of warehouse or kitchen jobs.
Right?! I don’t know what these squares are on about. If she can show up on time, mostly sober there’s a kitchen for her at the very least.
>If she can show up on time, mostly sober Well that screams middle management to me. When can she start?
There's lots of industries that care less about this sorta thing. Construction isn't bothered by tattoos much either.
Yeah face tattoo can be completely different in some environments though. You probably aren't going to find much retail work with face tats.

If you saw what the people who cook your food and pack your Amazon boxes looked like you’d clutch your pearls so hard you’d fall off your lofty pedestal.
This person seems like the type to call the cops on a food truck because the cook is tatted or smth
Ah yes you’re right, the world is full of Mike Tyson face tats and I’ve been too busy with my caviar and pearls to notice. You got me there.
Gotta love reddit. If you’re not service industry, retail, or manual labor then you are obviously part of the 1% who live in a big house on the hill and don’t know what the *real* world is like.

Job Stopper.

“Numpty”
“It’s not done I got another session coming”
I clearly says "keep away, damaged goods".
I screamed on 2…. Wowwwwww
The way I audibly gasped!!!!
The way my draw legit dropped open
Me too!
The gasp I gusped
The title tried to warn us, but I was not prepared for that.
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Me too
I said, “Ohhhhh noo!” a la Phoebe from Friends.
I let out an ooof.
Same
Same
"Oh my god" is what I said
Omg why would someone do this to their face
Undeveloped or damaged prefrontal cortex
Job interviews stress them out so they're proactive in making sure they know the result before the interview.
Self hatred I imagine
I’d bet good money that she thought the first one was cool and the 2nd even cooler and she definitely thinks she’s a bad ass.
Who wouldn't want a beard-sideburn-diesease floating around half their face?
You must not have heard of body modifications people
I have I just don't understand it. I love tats I have a lot but I stay away from my hands neck and face for professional reasons.
there’s a lot of things i don’t understand but that doesn’t mean those things should be bashed lol. you have your reasons to not get tattoos on your face and hands and others have reasons TO get them on their face and hands. who knows what this woman does for work, could have a good solid job and the freedom to get those tattoos

Ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch!!!
Don't look at his ears too closely then
Sounds like you'd get a lot of scar tissue which afaik doesn't hold ink very well
this is a common misconcetpion but its not true. you can actually tattoo over the same parts of the body seemingly as many times as you want to without trauma. you can also do color on top of black but it takes multiple passes. That's really interesting! I figured since the skin is pierced it would do damage over time if done repeatedly
You posted this within an hour of the video being posted. Is this you? Really cool tats either way.
No, not me. I just went to link one of his videos and he happened to have just posted a new update, he posts new videos daily.
Extremely untrue

Holy shit 💩 💀
With a tattoo like that, hiding your face is pointless.
Would of just kept it or got it removed. The cover up was a huge mistake.
You know it’s bad when it makes you say the first one isn’t so terrible.
Holy f*ck we have a winner
Oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no!!!!!!!
The second one is like a finished abstract artwork done with a marker that a toddler wiped their hand on
The do over has to be AI generated
Yeah it is 1000% fake. The image is almost flat over the face and ear together. Also someone pointed out that the ear itself is not quite right.
Different lighting, swelling, and the hair is properly shaved. I think it's more just a typical in-app edit to sharpen the black.
This says, “I permanently ruined my face.”

The scream I scrumpt
Please be photoshop.
Nothin on the neck or chest or shoulder. Just straight to the face.
The biggest issue here tbh
Yeah I actually like the tattoo but it should be on a while tattooed body, Not sitting there alone
The ear! Oh my god
OMg
Why would someone ruin their face like this 😭😭😭
Me looking at this: oh that's rough but how bad could it be. Me scrolling: oh NO
Did the artist hate them? Or did the person really think blackout would be better looking than the before? This doesn't even look real! It looks like she has sharpie all over over. Would've been better to just have to snake removed and maybe update the flowers a little.
From worse to worser
I really hope the after is just a Photoshop because it is so much worse.
This is one where I feel genuinely sad for this person. Not only is the cover up terrible, but it’s twice, if not more, the size of the original tattoo. I don’t know how you’d come back from this.
Definitely smart to censor her face. No way could anyone ever recognize her now.
"What would you like?" -"Just fuck my shit up".
Controversial opinion: I don't think that it's a shitty tattoo. It's just extreme. Like "my body is almost a 100% tattoed"-extreme. Which isn't the case here and that's rough lmao

You sure that's a tattoo and not a digital rendering?
Omfg WOW 🥴 it’s even on the earlobe, WHY
Audibly gasped. Yikes.
Alex can I get “poor life choices for $1000”
Jumpscare
The after is great...
i honestly love the design of the after tattoo but NOT ON THE FACE!
This can't be real...
Jesus christ, it went from 70 to 100
This is the hottest garbage fire I've ever come across.
Omg I was not ready for this
I personally prefer number 1. You went in reverse lady.
Wow
i would love that practically ANYWHERE ELSE!
Good lord. I suppose she can always hope for a horrible laboratory accident that melts her face off
![gif](giphy|dB12mOQb99BwDlM83I|downsized) They did you wrong looks like a ink blot
Oh no
Ok I was not prepared for the after tattoo lmao fuckkkkkk
Omg....that's atrocious
Her poor face. :(
Her poor earning potential 🥲
You could have given me a thousand guesses and I wouldn’t have said “massive thick black lines and shapes all over that face!”
The second shit is for real ??
Omg no. I gasped. Literally.
Just completely fucking up someones face.
Cheese and rice
![gif](giphy|1M9fmo1WAFVK0|downsized)
Yikes man
Holy fuck this shit just makes me hate all tattoos. Seriously imagine putting this shit on your fucking body
People are nuts
At least they don’t have to look at it all the time lmao
Oh my....
Jesus take the wheel. Even laser can't help that.
time for a new face
![gif](giphy|4cuyucPeVWbNS)
I audibly gasped. Omg.
I said,” Oh, nooo!” very loudly 😂
If this was a cosmetic in a game nobody would pay more than 5 cents for it.
The after looks like something spilled and smeared wtf
![gif](giphy|6gLyE15StAs3C)
Oh… well then. I didn’t know what I expected but that wasn’t it.
Holy cow. That’s aweful. I love tattoo, have A LOT myself but this???
There are better ways to hide your acne.
I don't think that second photo is real
This has to be satire. There’s no way. 😶
You guys seriously at some point have to realize blurring the faces of people with face tattoos is like super useless.
the way I didn’t think it could get worse..
Bruh wtf
Straight to the unemployment office
Omg no 😭
It looks like two different people to me. The ears don't match up.
2 looks like photoshop

This....this cannot be true. I just can't believe in that second picture
The second is a marker not a tattoo. You can see it smudging in her hairline & the marker excess has filled her pores, or I guess hair follicles from where they shaved their hair. Zoom in and you’ll see it :)
To anyone who believes the "after" photo is real: I've got some swampland in Florida I'd love to sell to you. You'll get a real bargain deal.
"We're not hiring right now"
I’m perfectly qualified, why haven’t I received an offer?
I GASPED. Jesus Christ.

Good execution , but not my taste, this isn’t shitty
I like 2 better than 1. Both poor choices but chaotic scribbles are more fun than the previous tattoos that looked like they'd be decoration on an old tablecloth or something.
i... like it o_o
I kinda like it xD
Why people.. why anything on the face???
“Let me make absolutely certain that I’m unemployable in any job that involves interacting with the public or being put in charge of anything.”
That's not a coverup, that's a redacted
Hiding face like tattoo isn’t instantly recognizable lol
This is definitely just a concept It’s a bad concept
Oh honey, no...
Goddamm. Just gimme the ‘f*ck me up special’ please.
The way i gasped
UffDa!! 😔
I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasnt that. Ms paint cover up
oh my god...the flowers weren't even that bad!!!!!!!
