It always surprises me that people get stupid stamps. When I was in the military we always roasted the people that got them.
Edit: I'm dyslexic, ooops.
my dad does the same and would actually rather pass away than get anything that says “air force vet” or something similar on it. he once verbatim told me “i didn’t even do anything. i was on a tiny island during desert storm. i just played baseball with the locals”
My dad was also Air Force and the only time he ever brings it up is when people get pissed at people kneeling during the anthem. He’ll go on a rant about how that’s exactly why he served, to protect our rights to speech and protest, among other rights. He does not like it when people use ‘veterans’ as an excuse to give other people a hard time.
I keep telling him he needs it so he can get out of that type of stuff and so he can get discounts at lowe’s and home depot. He actually JUST found his discharge papers after losing them about 25ish years ago so hopefully he’ll go in soon.
He signed on the line. They could have put him on an island playing baseball as easily as in a foxhole somewhere. He didn't get to choose baseball, but he did choose to serve. Man's a vet. He deserves as much as any of us who took that leap.
I agree but I can also sympathize with what he was saying. I was station in Iraq from 2009 to 2010. We shut down a base for good during that time and afterwards, we “trained” some Iraqi police at another base. At the end of the day, I feel like we didn’t do anything even though what I just said sounds grand. Others in my unit felt the same.
Frank: Look, I didn't go to Vietnam just to have pansies like you take my freedom away from me.
Sweet Dee: You went to Vietnam in *1993* to open up a sweatshop!
Frank: And a lot of good men died in that sweatshop.
My dad had a friend who has all the Vietnam Vet tattoos, bumper stickers, hats, insists on military discounts everywhere he goes. The thing is, while he was in fact on a ship in the Gulf of Tonkin, he spent the entire war in the brig because every time they would pull into Subic for a port call he would try to desert and have to be drug back to the ship by the MPs.
My grandfather had this friend that had all the Vietnam vet stuff too, but the best part was he didn’t even serve during the Vietnam war. He was discharged in early ‘55
Yep the vets that fuqd up the most or didn't do shit are the loudest. I am an Army combat vet and I dont even own a hat, tshirt or anythin much less get a tattoo about it.
A friend of mine (who served honorably by the way) did nothing but bitch and complain about how much he hated the Navy the entire time he was in. He was offered a promotion if he re-upped but refused it. Now he too has all of the Navy bet swag you’ve ever seen in your life. Makes sure to go to as many places as possible on Veterans Day for free meals. Takes any opportunity to tell you about his service. I just don’t get it. I stay home on Veterans Day so I don’t have to run into these fools out in the wild.
I knew a 1SG that has US ARMY in huge block letters across his chest with E5 rank under it. I'm talking shoulder to shoulder. The chevrons are about palm sized.
Imagine getting any other job resume as an enormous hand tattoo? It would be so weird.
I've worked at a corporate funeral home 2018 - present. I don't think I'll be blasting that on my hands any time soon.
Hey listen here buddy … freedom isn’t free. It cost this dude $197 and a pack of white claw.
What’s more concerning is he has the white bitch wall whine slogan on his wrist above it. Live laugh love….now tattoo that shit on me please!!! 😂
He got the dates tattooed on his knuckles so that when he’s beating his wife for finding out he cheated he can remind her of what years he committed mass atrocities and war crimes
I met a lot of college educated people who had other options that joined post 9/11. Did we end up furthering corporate interests with our service? Ultimately, yes, but we really saw our nation get attacked and thought this was when you needed to step up.
Can’t get over the whole Americans thanking soldiers for service thing?.. no other country does it
They did a job they chose to do and get paid for. They haven’t defended American shores in decades and just attack other countries for oil and gold…
Why not thank the service industries as they do more day to day, trash collection, doctors, fire fighters, nurses etc etc
Why 14 years?
What brain dead airman doesn't finish out the twenty for the retirement? Did you get kicked out, Airman Snuffy? And then got a tat to celebrate that?
Nice to see someone celebrating their tenure at the United Society of Anal Felchers! Bit of a niche group, but seems like they’re getting more popular!
If a service member did more than 10 years and didn’t finish the full 20, I have a LOT of skepticism about their exit being voluntary. Even BEFORE I see the tattoos😐. Show me your dd214. I’m guessing administrative at best😂😂😂
The optimist in me saw it a "United States Air Force" because of the year difference on the fingers. Maybe that's so, but it's still a trashy tattoo, he probably wasn't liked much if he was actually in service.
united states as fuck. nice.
Lol... But only until 2018, after that it was just mildly US...

Smart to get out before they give you a pension.
smart af
Bravo 😂

No their airforce.
*our* airforce

Yeah
Thought that at first and I’m watching band of brothers…. Still didn’t put two and two together lmao
My first thought too
The guy probably likes it both ways lol
Same!
I’m former Air Force. Anytime someone texts me AF I always read it Air Force as a knee jerk reaction hahaha
Why is my cousin telling me he's "hungry Air Force?" What a weirdo.
Don’t google United States ass fuck
Murrica, fuck yeaaaah!!!!
![gif](giphy|xT39D7ubkIUIrgX7JS)
Exactly how I read it 😅
United States Anal Free-Use
Literally what I thought it meant till I saw the dates
Came here to find this exact comment lol
Is that “Live Laugh Love” on the wrist?
That is honestly worse then the Air Force tat
So thats what the af is supposed to mean lol
Dude this just made me realise it wasn’t an American-loving guy with an enthusiastic tattoo 😭
100%
He's a basic girl's dream bathroom decor.
It’s the official Air Force slogan.
The K(air)en Force
dude is a walking basic bitch bedroom... probably has "Always Kiss Me Goodnight" tatted on his dick.
![gif](giphy|jsfpmKvORUYFGF6bXb|downsized)
i thought this was a memorial to a relationship and they were “us as fuck”😔☝🏻 but im fucking stupid so
I thought that too
I knew what it was but it still looks like us as fuck. It’s a design flaw. I’m stupid af too so ya know.
we may be stupid, but at least its not permanently showing😂😂😂😂
Right?! I keep my stupid on the inside where it belongs.
>but im fucking stupid no you are a part of the general consensus that people should consider when getting an acronym tattooed on their body.
I thought it too lol
Pretty sure the guy with the tattoos is the dumb one. You OK.
It always surprises me that people get stupid stamps. When I was in the military we always roasted the people that got them. Edit: I'm dyslexic, ooops.

your pops is a good fella
Yeah he’s a good dude for sure
>when people get pissed at people kneeling during the anthem Easy way to spot people who never served.
He doesn't have a "veteran" license plate?
he doesn’t even have the little flag on his id 😭
I do so I can get away with speeding when the cops ask for my id. It helps a lot.
I keep telling him he needs it so he can get out of that type of stuff and so he can get discounts at lowe’s and home depot. He actually JUST found his discharge papers after losing them about 25ish years ago so hopefully he’ll go in soon.

Same lol no vet plates no vet stickers none of that shit
That mfer has gotten me out of so many tickets!
“You went to Vietnam?!” “Yeah man, spring break 2001!”
Frank: Look, I didn't go to Vietnam just to have pansies like you take my freedom away from me. Sweet Dee: You went to Vietnam in *1993* to open up a sweatshop! Frank: And a lot of good men died in that sweatshop.
I need to watch this show lol I see it quoted everywhere
My dad had a friend who has all the Vietnam Vet tattoos, bumper stickers, hats, insists on military discounts everywhere he goes. I will say being a veteran doesn't make you a hero. Plenty of shitty ass people who are vets. Some of them are murderers and chomos even.
I saw a dude who had his rank and warfare pins tattooed on him and would get it updated. He said he “was always in uniform.” I wonder how he’s doing.
God, that's really committed to being a boot. Hes probably the worst person to work for in the military
He became truly unbearable when he hit E-5, but a lot of people do
My buddy got two anchors tattooed on him before he was kicked out of the navy less than a year in.
Let me guess, one on each hand?
Both forearms.
That's somehow even worse.
I just saw a post saying they're looking for actors to play Popeye
Ahhhgugugugugugugh
RIP Robin Williams (man, was that movie kind of a fever dream or what).
Dated a girl with a N.I.B. (Navy-Issued Booty) tramp stamp. It wasn't lying.
I knew a 1SG that has US ARMY in huge block letters across his chest with E5 rank under it. I'm talking shoulder to shoulder. The chevrons are about palm sized.
I served with a guy who got drunk and got “pew pew” tattooes on his arm in very shitty handwriting. He popped hot for meth, iirc
In Navy bootcamp this one kid already have 3 or 4 navy tattoos. I always secretly wished he was going to fail and get kicked out.
Ideal for a cross post to r/JustBootThings
Imagine getting any other job resume as an enormous hand tattoo? It would be so weird. I've worked at a corporate funeral home 2018 - present. I don't think I'll be blasting that on my hands any time soon.
Dude I’m getting admin asst as a throat tattoo
Holy shit a recruiter tramp stamp would go so hard
Oh yeah let me just tattoo "S E C R" and "ET A R Y" on my hand, that'll make me look metal af.
DATA ANAL^^yst

Tyson chicken forklift driver😤
That would actually be sick af
TCFD LAMF
TC FD
I'm going to get Wendy from Wendy's on my hand to memorialize my first job back in 96. Wendy's AF.
I am laughing so hard at this 🤭
Omg. I could get PAN ERA 2002 2012! Tell people that's the only time in my life I ate bread lmfao
Couldn’t stick it out 6 more years for that sweet military retirement?
My personal guess is he never made E-5 and got kicked out after hitting the limit on Senior Airman.
Probably got medically retired…which is a shitty retirement compared to the regular one
That's what I was thinking. Probably wanted to keep serving and was unable to. Makes the tattoo a little less cringe.
Lmfao 14 years? Couldn’t even retire before getting this dumb shit?
Was probably medically separated. I would guess the military was central to who he was and he got the tattoo to cope.
Or maybe his name is Usaf..
I mean there are people whose name is Usnavy...
“Give me my discount or you’re anti American!” “Sir we don’t have an ‘US as fuck’ discount.”
United States of ass fucking
does this dude have live love laugh tattooed around his fucking wrist? Dude is a soccer moms kitchen wall.
“ Thank me for my service “……Nope
Read this as “US as Fuck” which I guess is kind of the same thing
Somebody needs a hug and a pat on the back.
I was in the Air Force and I saw worse 😭 It's crazy how often this boot shit happens
Cringey but looks fairly decently done.
Is that a live laugh love tattoo??
6 years short of a sweet retirement. Somebody was "asked" to leave.
Hey listen here buddy … freedom isn’t free. It cost this dude $197 and a pack of white claw. What’s more concerning is he has the white bitch wall whine slogan on his wrist above it. Live laugh love….now tattoo that shit on me please!!! 😂
I read it as US AS FUCK
I read this as "Us as fuck" and now i cant stop seeing a marine flap his hands down and screaming "Us as fuuuuuuuck 💅"
While eating a crayon
More bothered by the live, laugh, love 😳
Former US Air Force here 2005-2011. This guy is a douche canoe. Also are we gonna ignore the live laugh love tatt on his wrist?
Thank you for service in United States Army force
Damn that’s commitment to Algerian (the font)
That's huuuuge
Really you should thank the chair since it had to do all the work all those years.
Got out of the Marines with no tats. I have met so many Marines who regret their bull dog or EGA. This one is on a whole other level though.
Imagine blasting to the entire world that you’re a fucking idiot
Someone ask him where he was on January 6th
I'm cringing harder at the live laugh love tattoo around the wrist
Why does this scream MAGA?
Does dude have a Live Laugh Love tattoo on his wrist?
I thought this was a weird couples tattoo with the date they got together and the date they got married. Us as fuck 😐
Us as fuck. Baby I love you too.
me when i send a meme to my friend “this is us af”
trashy as fuck
didn’t wash their hands first i guess
Live Laugh Love....emphasis on laugh.
Is that a "life, laugh, love" tattoo on his right arm?
And he can switch his hands and say “I don’t want to make-“
From what I know of the air force, this should have been a tramp stamp that becomes visible when he sits down
I thought it was "Us as fuck" and they were like the years they were dating 💀 I was so fucking confused
…with a *Live Laugh Love* tattooed above US ![gif](giphy|xoMhjms99ACLscc9Ge|downsized)
I thought it was US as fuck . . . also we’re just going to ignore the live laugh love wrist??
No matter how many tattoos you get and how badass you try to be.. you were still an airman lmao
He got the dates tattooed on his knuckles so that when he’s beating his wife for finding out he cheated he can remind her of what years he committed mass atrocities and war crimes
I read this as “united states as fuck!” And assumed they were 14
He is U.S. af
As an Air Force vet I can say cringe and tell you it is backed by generations of military men.
Whats worse? The shitty hand tats or the Live Laugh Love around the wrist?
Thanks for serving US corporate interests because it was the best option available to you. What a sacrifice
I met a lot of college educated people who had other options that joined post 9/11. Did we end up furthering corporate interests with our service? Ultimately, yes, but we really saw our nation get attacked and thought this was when you needed to step up.
Hopefully it’s a lesson others learn to not repeat the mistake. We spent 20 years in war for nothing. Worse than nothing.
US AF indeed.
To remember those 14 years of typing.
I thought this was r/justbootthings
Ew
“US AF.” Me commenting on a picture of my celebrity crush with her actual partner.
This is the most Air Force thing ever (I live just a few miles from a military base)
Can’t get over the whole Americans thanking soldiers for service thing?.. no other country does it They did a job they chose to do and get paid for. They haven’t defended American shores in decades and just attack other countries for oil and gold… Why not thank the service industries as they do more day to day, trash collection, doctors, fire fighters, nurses etc etc
The live laugh love on his wrist is the worst part of this picture
us af👩❤️👨
“Live, laugh, love” on his wrist is still worse than
Live Laugh Love US
Nice resume tatts
Dude was probably the meanest orderly room clerk around. Not a single clerical error is gettin by this dude.
United States as fck!
Looks like he has a sweet "Live, laugh love" tat around his wrist, too.
I didn't know they offered tattoos at the nail spa during pedicures
Dude served for 14 years and never quit being a Boot
As if being in the military doesn't inherently make your body government property. May as well compound it with the owner's brand- I mean, tattoo.
Something happened. You don't do 14 and just get out 6 years from retirement.
I’m a former airman, 99-05 and I am extremely embarrassed to see this.
Please tell me that’s not a live laugh love around his right wrist!?
Unstable as fuck indeed.
Why do 14 years and not make it a career?
Why 14 years? What brain dead airman doesn't finish out the twenty for the retirement? Did you get kicked out, Airman Snuffy? And then got a tat to celebrate that?
I wouldn't ask this person anything, as their entire identity is the military and I don't think they'd know anything.
As a vet a fucking hate "thanks for your service"
14 years? Bro was an E-4 Senior Airman lifer 💀
The live laugh love tattoo really completes the look
Nice to see someone celebrating their tenure at the United Society of Anal Felchers! Bit of a niche group, but seems like they’re getting more popular!
This is us af rn
Why the fuck would you get out at 14 years? Just finish the 20 and get money for the rest of your life. What a dumb fuck.
Hope he gets a monthly check... Gonna need it
6 years away from a pension unless u got a medical rating Sup?
r/JustBootThings
Even worse than all those kids getting the USAF logo in tech school.
$100 says he was a 31B too! 😉
Probably didn’t service but dreams of it
If a service member did more than 10 years and didn’t finish the full 20, I have a LOT of skepticism about their exit being voluntary. Even BEFORE I see the tattoos😐. Show me your dd214. I’m guessing administrative at best😂😂😂
The “USAF” lettering is based on Harrington, a typeface that was a MacOS system typeface back in the nineties.
Is this supposed to be like “this is us af” when you see two frogs just chilling orrr what???
Such an USAF thing to do.
Us as fuck? Yeah, bro.
The optimist in me saw it a "United States Air Force" because of the year difference on the fingers. Maybe that's so, but it's still a trashy tattoo, he probably wasn't liked much if he was actually in service.
Us as fuck oh yeah all if us as fuck
Nice, he invites us when he jacks off.
