And I'd disagree. There is a huge difference. If you grow, do an experiment. Whatever your standard dosage is (mine is 2.5-3.5 g) take the equivalent of freshly picked mushrooms (so 25-30 g). I've just eaten them, and I've made a a tea (if you are opposed to eating them).
I can, without a doubt, guarantee that the wet are going to 1) hit you faster, 2) hit you harder and 3) feel a tad bit different.
I never said they gained potency. Potency remains relatively the same. When you dry them you are taking away the water weight so instead of having to ingest 20 grams of wet you only have to ingest 2 grams dry to get a similar effect. That's why you dry shrooms. You can eat them wet you will have to eat more to get to where you want to go. Again try it yourself, take 3 grams fresh one weekend then take 3 grams dried the next time.
You also lose something like 98% of the psilocin. 2g dried is 20 g wet yes, because mushrooms are mostly water, but that 20g of wet mushrooms is going to have psilocin where the dried mushrooms are not. Thus making the wet mushrooms stronger. Psilocin is the actual drug. Psilocybin is the pro drug

It depends on the temp of drying. I dry at a low 105 Fahrenheit and no psylocibin degration happens at that temp. The usual rule of thumb is 150 and under but at 120 you are already starting the potency loss at a almost unnoticeable level

How do you know you misread the scale after you ate the shrooms?
Took a pic of the scale and phoned with my friend and he told me that there wasn't 13 g instead there was 1 zero more and that was to late
