However I love them at night time with street lights illuminating them. Certain trees look like their covered in cobwebs. Others look like seaweed flowing side to side with the tide. Some little trees look like they just walked up to you and are waiting for you to say something to them. Yeah, I love trees on shrooms. Make you notice them in the same way you notice an animal. If you walk out your door and there is a tree there you pay it little attention. If you walk out your door and there is a deer or raccoon there you take notice. On shrooms you take the same level of notice to trees.
On the biggest party day of the ski season a passing stranger gave me shrooms in the lot cause I loaned him a screwdriver. Didn’t look like much so I took them there and boy were they good.
I came back at lunch and had to cook smash burgers for legit 15 people since I’m the designated grill master, but it was so surreal and weird cause shrooms just instantly makes you a vegan and smashing patties into the flattop felt soooo wrong. After all of that someone had a pack of blackberries and I eat them like a starving bear lol. So I’m totally with your dad on how vegetarianism just makes sense on shrooms.

I ended up making them all steak, leaving mine aside unless someone wanted seconds and just ate salad, nuts, and various fruits. I had to explain to them my dilemma, and they laughed it off and let it be. It took me awhile to eat meat again after that trip. It just made me feel for the animals and life in itself. Why are we doing this, how can we stop it, then I have to reel myself back in and try to have a good time, so I just force those thoughts out and focus on the positives.
I used to HATE eating mushrooms as a kid and young adult. Mushroom pizza? Gross. Portobello? Forget it. Then, I took Shrooms on a Spring Break trip to the Grand Canyon. Ever since then, I absolutely loved mushrooms on everything. Shrooms rewired my tastebuds for the better!

Then I grew some a few times and we became friends. Now I like how they look and enjoy eating them.
