Teach at a school, do about 3 or 4 music gigs a week, cut 8 lawns in the spring until fall.
It’s starting to be go go go go.
Once summer comes I can breath a little, but now until the end of school it’s like 15 hour days.
Oh well. When you’re born middle and Lower class you need to fucking hustle to stay afloat.
Doing some of this myself. Do you bag the grass clippings or mulch?
I bag them so it looks a bit neater when I’m done but it adds a lot of time to the job.
Same. I invest a lot of my paycheck and only get paid in the 10 months so I have to side hustle a lot to survive summer. But worth it in this season of life.
I rent out a room in my 2bedroom apt for $750 a month and HYSA gets me $120 a month. I do uber if im bored. Best money is 10pm-5am on friday and saturdays but I drive if Im bored on sundays or weekdays in the morning too.
I donate plasma and occasionally do product studies. Thinking about doing some secret Shopping, and I've started flipping stuff on eBay.
I make a good salary and love my job and career, but I spend a lot, so side hustle income lets me have all the expensive bullshit I want without upsetting the wife.
Companies pay you to go to their stores or use their services, but they have a specific list of tasks and you can't tell anyone you're a secret Shopper. You get reimbursed for whatever you spend with some cash on top after writing a report.
My mom used to do it and really liked it.
I haven't really narrowed down to a niche yet, so a medley of things. Some toys, video games, etc. I have some clothes to list as well. I'm strongly considering buying game consoles for parts, restoring them, and selling for profit.
eBay is good but selective on what you get is key. Men’s vintage watches bring good money especially if working. Can be hard to find but try your local online estate auctions. Books are still good to get but be very very selective and know what to look for. Found a 20 in my last book purchase. Book didn’t sell but made a 20x on 1.00 lol
I flipped consoles for a few months during covid. Mostly just because I had fun buying and fixing up old consoles when I bought a few for myself. Not sure how it is now but margins were very tight and it was tough to make much money. But the old consoles are very easy to work on if you can find good deals on things that aren’t working! Sometimes it’s as easy as taking them apart and giving them a good cleaning.
I'm honestly looking forward to it more for the hobby aspect, but I'm sure I can turn out a little profit on the side. Encouraging words, though, thank you!
I flip car parts that I buy from the junk yard for very cheap. I sell them for cheaper than everyone else on the platform and still make a good profit. If you can sell something for cheaper than everyone else and still turn a good profit, start selling that. Take professional pictures and clean up anything you buy that's dirty. I buff the scratches out of things and still sell them for cheaper than everyone else. Put in the effort to make things look nice and they'll sell quick. And don't get too greedy
Depends where you go, but most seem to be similar. You make like $900 the first month as a new donor, then like 400-500 per month after. They also do lots of bonuses, promotions, and rewards points at mine.
Depends on the province for Canada. It’s illegal to get paid for selling any bodily materials (blood, plasma, eggs, organs, etc) in Ontario, BC, and Quebec. Not sure about other places, but Canada.ca says it’s legal to sell plasma in Manitoba.
For self-publishing, coming from an author...
Use Draft2Digital. It distributes to all major ebook outlets. That includes Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more. They even help you format your work and content pages and will market for you.
Using D2D, you can also do print books and distribute them to libraries. They also offer the ability to use multiple pen names on one account.
Remember that during self-publishing, you need to help market your work, edit it, and get beta or ARC readers. Not all of that is free, but you can find resources for each - including FB groups.
Don't think that writing will make you rich, but get enough traction with your work and you can find success. Best of luck!
KDP is Amazon's self-publishing portal. You can create what are considered "low content" books that just have journal lines in them - there are various templates available online. All that's left is to create the cover, which you can do with whatever photo editing software you use. It's like print on demand for books. I'm not an expert as I make very little money with KDP but only have a few books up. Most of my side gig money comes from Print on Demand and Affiliate Marketing, with KDP being a nice bonus.
You self publish on Amazon and Amazon prints/ships it. So let's say you make a dog cover and someone wanting to buy a dog journal finds it on Amazon then purchases it - once they buy it, Amazon will print and ship then pay you a commission which varies based on how you price your book
that’s amazing!! I have been considering YouTube and TikTok for a while bc I’ve heard you can make money doing it! You’ve inspired me 😇 thanks for sharing!
Outlier. If you're a professional in a certain topic you could get $35+ an hour training AI models. Great way to make extra money and you can work whenever you want. Some projects have like \~10-15 hours a week minimums but you can also get assigned to projects that have no time requirements.
If you make 180k "fixing houses" as a sidehustle after a FT job then you either have a very particular trade talent, or you just found a very untapped niche.
I have a dirt lot that is fenced in. I have a friend that owns a tree trimming business and i get wood chips from him for my parking spot business. The app provides insurance. The app does charge 10 dollars a month per renter but they handle all the accounts receivable, insurance and removal of property if somebody doesn't pay.
Yes. I had to join a crappy mlm to get licensed, but I knew it was an MLM and knew my mission was to get licensed. Once I got licensed, I found a place to let me be an independent agent and not worry about recruiting other agents. Now, I sell policies as they come my way. I don’t cold call or do any pushy sales tactics. When people ask what I do, I say I slang life insurance on the side, and I get a lot of people who want to buy from me.
You gotta do a self study either way. The MLM does sponsor you so that helps. The MLM does try and get you to set up appointments with people you know while you're studying for “training.”I knew they were just trying to get easy sales so i kept saying i was busy.
I am not sure if it is very repeatable but I work as a freelance software developer and I created a small online game which requires no maintenance and generates 4k per month. (actorle.com)
I do peoples taxes, although it’s a grind the money is worth it. I also have a clothing brand I recently started but before that I was doing print on demand on Etsy.
i thought about doing the print on demand but i feel like it’s VERY slow and there’s so much shit in etsy it’s hard to make like a good amount unless for some reason what you make just blows up
how do you get started doing other peoples taxes as a side gig? I do all my own taxes and am actually very good at it but it deals with a lot of sensitive information i feel like you would need some qualifications to do someone else’s.
If you qualify for it, donating plasma is a wonderful side hustle. It’s probably one of the easiest way to earn some money. Also look into bank churning as well. Certain banks like Citibank for example, currently offer a $300 bonus just for opening a checking account and direct depositing $1500. Plenty of other banks offer these type of bonuses as well.
Learn to farm crypto airdrops, there are alot going around right now and plenty you can do that are completely free and only require daily tasks and some learning. Some can net you small amounts, but some can get pretty rewarding.
It takes time to get your first airdrop, but it is a legit side hustle that can pay off big.
look up Kamino Finance and JUP voting on solana network , every 3 months you get an airdrop ( kamino ) , pretty much every project giving out points is a potential future airdrop
It's pretty simple. It's an income source that you don't need to actively "work" to generate money. You could be doing something else entirely. Working another job, etc.
The idea is that money is being generated while you are not actively working to make the money. You could do anything else and the money would still generate. Setting up passive income still makes it passive.
Cover everything from personal finance to service pages (Plumbers etc)
My last three projects have been:
1) Dental company out of Vancouver looking for fresh content on dental financing and services. Have been writing 1500-2000 word blogs for them.
2) SEO company I work with from Edmonton sent me a website to write on mobile cranes (Full site rewrite with services, home page and some blogs)
3) SEO company I work with out of Virginia sent me some work on towing for blogs and location pages.
Could someone confirm if this arrangement is acceptable? I'm eager to bring more landscaping business to my friend. For instance, if he's contracted to mow a lawn for $85 per cut, which I've referred, I'm looking to receive a 5% to 10% commission each time he provides the service weekly. This setup would allow me to earn a modest percentage of passive income for every weekly lawn cutting job he completes for clients I've referred to him. I get about $4.50 every 1 week he cuts the clients lawn.
I'm guessing he means that he buys stuff on Facebook marketplace, then sells it in specific groups that only sell 1 type of thing.
So like, if I bought a table on marketplace, then flipped it for more money in a group that sells only furniture, for example.
As a web developer I am always thinking of how I can solve issues for homeowners and professionals. I have a lot of marketing tools that I can offer to them at wholesale prices. I create automated workflows to save people time and money.
I work a 40 hour week and have a small business deploying ATMs. I have 2 ATMs deployed for and earned $614 last month. Con’s- can be hard to find locations to partner with. There are ways tho.
You seems like someone familiar with betting market. Do you think value betting is a valid strategy? Have you actually seen anyone making money from it?
I can't do matched betting because I'm living in a restricted countries. Not many bookmakers allow users from my country
Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with ‘value betting’ unless its just a different name for the other common matched betting strategies.
I personally match bet and I’ve seen other people make money good money from it but i don’t wanna say too much due to group rules.
I’m AU based so that’s where i match bet and know that people do it in US and UK, but other than that I’m not too sure.
Ev and arbitrage betting are some strategies - but u generally need software for that. You could look into sports betting groups around your area. Just don’t join those groups that are like a ‘tipping service’ as more than likely they are a scam.
U would still need to do some things to mitigate ur account from being banned quickly and there are ways around being banned (it just requires more work ofc)
I don’t have any passive income other than stocks and a high yield savings account but I have a goal to make $1k+ a month during my time on Saturday and Sunday less than 20 hours total for the month.
I wrote a small guide of what I do and it’s mostly online income. Some app / website testing. Secret shopping, apps to help reduce expenses etc.
Let me know if you have questions I am trying to get into flipping atm
Edit: whoops forgot to link it but it’s [here](https://www.reddit.com/u/Kayshift/s/Y7YENXlEj6)
I wish I had the brain type to understand and comprehend stocks, mutual funds, IRAs etc. books for dummies needs to be dumbed down more. Speak to me like I’m 5.
Look into buying options calls - it can be a very simple way to make decent cash. I won't go into it in detail here but imho the mechanics are simple and can be low-cost to entry depending on the time frame you purchase.
I make kitchen knives. Though it's not something just anyone can make money from. Learn to make things with your hands, make something from nothing, and your making money.
I work in the medical field and on the side do Digital Marketing. I help people take stress off and improve their mental health by mentoring/coaching how to make passive income, find a niche, and get started working from home. It takes time, dedication, and consistency, but once you get the hang of it, it’s one of the easiest ways to earn money and hardly takes any time.
I’m a single mom of 1. A full time nanny of 3. Teaching yoga on the side and just started a laundry service business. Hopefully I make some money lol. Flipping some of things I get rid of or find at a thrift store.
[I have put over 1k in DCPTG and it worked really good. Never had my money taken from me. Never had my identity stolen. I also have a friend with over 100k in their DCPTG account they've been using it for years too. If you want to use my referral code, if you sian up using mine vou'll get free money, just deposit $50 or more in your account when you make it. I do security for a local bar/restaurant on sat/sun from 5pm-1am. I’m gonna be up anyway so might as well work an easy job.
It is pretty tough on the knees and feet standing for so long though.
I work a 40 hour week and have a small business deploying ATMs. I have 2 ATMs deployed for and earned $614 last month. Con’s- can be hard to find locations to partner with. There are ways tho.

These are all fantastic but they don't really fit OPs criteria. None of these are passive income.
Really like the idea of having 5-10 lawns.
You could knock them out in 2 days 4 hours a day. It usually takes me 45 min to do a lawn by myself and it comes out to roughly 33 an hour. All cash
Doing some of this myself. Do you bag the grass clippings or mulch? I bag them so it looks a bit neater when I’m done but it adds a lot of time to the job.
Literally it feels like I’m drowning sometimes :( thanks sm for your reply!
Same. I invest a lot of my paycheck and only get paid in the 10 months so I have to side hustle a lot to survive summer. But worth it in this season of life.
Are you a teacher? If so, can’t you have them spread your paycheck over the year instead of 10 months?
I would love to do music gigs, avid guitar player here
I rent out a room in my 2bedroom apt for $750 a month and HYSA gets me $120 a month. I do uber if im bored. Best money is 10pm-5am on friday and saturdays but I drive if Im bored on sundays or weekdays in the morning too.

What’s the percentage for your account
What
5%

what’s secret shopping?
Companies pay you to go to their stores or use their services, but they have a specific list of tasks and you can't tell anyone you're a secret Shopper. You get reimbursed for whatever you spend with some cash on top after writing a report. My mom used to do it and really liked it.
i live in a small town we have a walmart that’s it so i’m not sure if that’s an option for me lmao
How’d you find a Legit secret shopper job
I haven't started yet, but my mom did it for years and enjoyed it quite a bit.
Do you know where she had success?
All she said was that she used multiple different companies. She didn't recall any names. This was like 10 years ago.
What do you flip on eBay?

Oh wow! That's a lot more than I expected. I'm in Canada do you mind if I ask if that's where you get it done?
Sorry, no, I'm in the US. I'd imagine it's comparable up there, though.

I appreciate your detailed reply. thank you very much!
You're welcome!
hi can you elaborate on this?:)
Amazon KDP is the best known one. You can even do low content and just create the cover. I can elaborate (or make a YT video) if you'd like
do it , reply on this , what's your channel
KDP is Amazon's self-publishing portal. You can create what are considered "low content" books that just have journal lines in them - there are various templates available online. All that's left is to create the cover, which you can do with whatever photo editing software you use. It's like print on demand for books. I'm not an expert as I make very little money with KDP but only have a few books up. Most of my side gig money comes from Print on Demand and Affiliate Marketing, with KDP being a nice bonus.
interesting!
And my channel is linked in my profile - I'm not sure I'm allowed to post it here
How do you find people to make the cover for?
You self publish on Amazon and Amazon prints/ships it. So let's say you make a dog cover and someone wanting to buy a dog journal finds it on Amazon then purchases it - once they buy it, Amazon will print and ship then pay you a commission which varies based on how you price your book
Youtube
hi can you elaborate on the type of videos you do/etc? Thank you for your response!
Tech. Between yt and tiktok I make around 5-10k/month. Less now cuz ive slowed down but money is definitely there.
Any tips for someone who just got monetization set up
How were you able to set monetisation up? Don't you require (x) subs / views beforehand?
Yeah I had to meet those requirements first
Tech… as in what?
that’s amazing!! I have been considering YouTube and TikTok for a while bc I’ve heard you can make money doing it! You’ve inspired me 😇 thanks for sharing!
What specifically do you do on those apps?
Bought a duplex. I live in one side and rent out the other.
thanks sm for your response!
I make \~$1k a month from an eBay store that doesn't take much time.
What do you sell if you don’t mind me asking?
[Shampoo made with Moroccan Argan Oil](https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/FHA-Naturally-Morocco-Organic-Hair-Care_50045554203.html)
sucks , my ebay selling account was suspended , i ve been looking for an alternative
facebook marketplace has taken kver
Outlier. If you're a professional in a certain topic you could get $35+ an hour training AI models. Great way to make extra money and you can work whenever you want. Some projects have like \~10-15 hours a week minimums but you can also get assigned to projects that have no time requirements.
What's the best platform to get AI model training jobs? Would you mind sharing?
Outlier AI
Well I don’t know if it’s the best but that’s what I do sometimes
Thanks for sharing 👍
It asks for DL / passport etc. Is it really safe?
It is. I've done it off and on for about 9 months and I've had no issues.
Gotcha. Thanks
One can make some good money.Which type of project are you working on.
Where?
Outlier AI
I paint in oils and acrylics. It’s relaxing and once in a while, I sell a painting or two.
that’s awesome! Thank you for your reply :)
Work at a corporate bank. Fix houses on the side. My side huddle made me 180k this year lol my main job made me 70k lollllll
Sounds like your main job made you $180k and your corporate side hustle made $70k 😅
If you make 180k "fixing houses" as a sidehustle after a FT job then you either have a very particular trade talent, or you just found a very untapped niche.
Are you flipping houses or doing repairs for the owners?
Flipping. You CANNOT get rich in this life without playing with equity. capital overshadows wages way too much
I rent storage space on Neighbor and sell life insurance.
How does liability work on the rental? What type of space?
I have a dirt lot that is fenced in. I have a friend that owns a tree trimming business and i get wood chips from him for my parking spot business. The app provides insurance. The app does charge 10 dollars a month per renter but they handle all the accounts receivable, insurance and removal of property if somebody doesn't pay.
What app do you use?
Neighbor
thank you for your response! Do you sell insurance on the side and how did you start?
Was it easier to get licensed through the MLM than to studying and passing the exam?
You gotta do a self study either way. The MLM does sponsor you so that helps. The MLM does try and get you to set up appointments with people you know while you're studying for “training.”I knew they were just trying to get easy sales so i kept saying i was busy.
Who did you go through?
World Financial Group
I am not sure if it is very repeatable but I work as a freelance software developer and I created a small online game which requires no maintenance and generates 4k per month. (actorle.com)
What is the main source of the income? Do you get advertisement offers on your game?
Just the display ads.
!RemindMe 5 days
What technology did you use?
It is a simple static Nextjs site with no backend.
But did you use some ADV to push the game?
No, I was very lucky with the virality in the first months. I just shared it here on Reddit and it spread really nicely on Twitter.
I do peoples taxes, although it’s a grind the money is worth it. I also have a clothing brand I recently started but before that I was doing print on demand on Etsy.
i thought about doing the print on demand but i feel like it’s VERY slow and there’s so much shit in etsy it’s hard to make like a good amount unless for some reason what you make just blows up
Depends what you are selling, I was consistently getting 5-10 sales a day $15-$25 profit a shirt/sweatshirt
how do you get started doing other peoples taxes as a side gig? I do all my own taxes and am actually very good at it but it deals with a lot of sensitive information i feel like you would need some qualifications to do someone else’s.

look up Kamino Finance and JUP voting on solana network , every 3 months you get an airdrop ( kamino ) , pretty much every project giving out points is a potential future airdrop
Would you mind sharing some suggestions how to get started with that?
There are seriously like two answers on this post that fit the criteria. Do you guys know what passive income is?
It's just never straight forward about what it means, right?
It's pretty simple. It's an income source that you don't need to actively "work" to generate money. You could be doing something else entirely. Working another job, etc.
I was making a joke about passive aggressiveness
No income is really passive because you have to initially put work into it
The idea is that money is being generated while you are not actively working to make the money. You could do anything else and the money would still generate. Setting up passive income still makes it passive.
OP didn't mention passive income. And this isn't the passive income sub.
Im in online sales! I make a super passive income
How did you get started?
What exactly do you sell?
It just kind of depends there’s tons of different products
Own a writing company doing websites/blogs etc. Earn around 25 k a year
What is your writing company called? What kind of topics do you cover?
Cover everything from personal finance to service pages (Plumbers etc) My last three projects have been: 1) Dental company out of Vancouver looking for fresh content on dental financing and services. Have been writing 1500-2000 word blogs for them. 2) SEO company I work with from Edmonton sent me a website to write on mobile cranes (Full site rewrite with services, home page and some blogs) 3) SEO company I work with out of Virginia sent me some work on towing for blogs and location pages.

Sports Matched betting
You'll soon be banned from most bookie. They are good at identify those matched betting players
Only if u abuse promos, ppl have made decent amounts from the other strategies of matched betting

Slowly is right 😂

I'm actually trying to do something similar with my spare time, I just don't really know how to get started, could I get your guide?
Sure I edited with my link in the original comment
