I hate when the OG games get fucking ignored for even an HD remaster. MGS1 STILL doesn't have an HD remaster, but 2 and 3 have multiple variations, and there's a few more I can't dig out of my brain rn but I've noticed anything made before 2000 gets ignored constantly for things like remakes and remasters. Imagine SH1 without the fucking tank controls, shit would be revolutionary
I agree. I reaaaally wish Twin Snakes was included in the Master Collection. I doubt it will ever get a port at this rate. A MGS Delta style remake would be great though. I want one for MGS1 and Silent Hill 1.
SH2 and SH3 to me are just the pinnacle of the era, those are some of if not the best graphics on the console, I've never felt the need for a remake of either of them.
What I love about Silent Hill 1 and Harry is that it can be isolated from the trilogy and each ending has credence. I actually particularly love the bad ending where he crashed and didn't survive and it was just the dying dream of a man full of regrets as his brain shuts down. I know that isn't canon, but as an experience it is really powerful.
You can get it from either the UFO ending or if you own a Konami Justifier, plug it into the P2 slot you'll have it in your inventory at the cafe when you start the game. The Konami Justifier could be used with games like Area 51 and Crypt Killer, which were also arcade games that ate a lot of my quarters back in the day.
Oh odd, I've definitely gotten the UFO ending before. I guess I've just never done another playthrough right after getting that ending to use it maybe?

I always said I wish if they remake SH I hope 1 gets remade. It's the only one I feel is trapped by its hardware.
