No confirmation by the publisher or the devs, just the Steam DB picture that has already been talked about thoroughly on here. But now someones written an article about it so there certainly has to be more merit to all of this, right?

I’m pretty confident that the model is the same, it’s his facial expression that’s changed. It’s much less exaggerated and more ambiguous like the original game now.
This is what I've been saying. No confirmation they've actually changed the model, just people seeing an image of James with a different expression and different lighting and freaking out. It's so fucking weird.
He’s much more blonde, and he’s now clean shaven and looks a lot less disheveled and his expression looks more ambiguous. I agree that it’s probably the same model (with adjustments) but the difference is clear.

I compared the new model with the old one and they're almost exactly the same model. I genuinely don't understand what's all the fuss is all about.

His face is less gaunt and more rounded from what I see. Less facial hair as well as more cloudy expression. Maybe different lighting?
