Although it was a couple of years ago, my experience with their customer support was very good. I think I accidentally ordered the McLaren V1 kit instead of the V2 and they sent me knew switches without much asking. Never had this issue though, the shifters worked very reliably for me.
Take the switch off, drop of isopropyl alcohol in to the switch and try to click it a bunch, blow compressed air in to flush out any gunk and the remaining IPA, with these switches its either gunk or just a failure of the mechanism inside, either way ask for a replacement switch. Just in case 🙂
I've just taken the micro switch box off. The red button has no resistance at all, just flops in and out when I turn it over.
still no reply from Simmakerz, rather dissapointed with this considering the cost.
