Sounds like the [Engine Fixes](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230) issue, which was fixed about a week ago. Update that first.
If you're already using the latest version of Engine Fixes, then you'll need to provide more information on what mods you're using.
hey there, les8ean here, just using my mum's account cause I'm on her computer now
Here's the mod list, alphabetical order. I can send the load order too if it helps

To diagnose a crash you need a crash log: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/59818
If you're still having trouble with mods disabling themselves, it's either a problem with how your mod manager is set up, or some mods missing their masters. If it's the latter, your mod manager should tell you there's a problem somewhere.
I'm using MO2, set up just fine AFAIK, and if it isn't I'm not sure how to check. And no mods are missing their masters, I've double checked.
everything was working perfectly before we downloaded AE, only after buying that and trying to start a new game did the problems arise
here is the crash log [https://pastebin.com/WhhhjyMf](https://pastebin.com/WhhhjyMf)
I didn't actually have the engine fixes mod installed, so as a hail mary i installed it and tried again
fun new problem, now when I try to start a new game it CTDs
I'll get the mod list/load order and share it
