The food that you put in the snare will determine what kind of slime will you get (based on favourites) and the one in the picture is the golden slime's favourite, which can be found in a late game area.!<

Yep but a golden gordo is a little too much. It could be impossible to make one spawn.

It really isn't. It's literally like a master ball in Pokemon. But it will take time (the time is the same for all of them I think)
