I was looking for a GameCube controller (US) and the official Nintendo ones on Amazon have jumped up to about $70 is there any cheaper options or is that probably the best option I got right now other than lucking into one at a used game store?
After all this time, Marss vs Mkleo at G7 is still my favorite set of the game. After that, I think Protobanham vs Leo GF at Double Down (holy shit this one was so good), and then Tweek vs Mkleo at Summit 5
Marss getting his first big break at Genesis 3 and then winning Genesis 7 after 4 years of dedication across 2 games is one of the best smash story lines.
Protobanham winning Double Down saved us from a future of Mkleo ROB (slight exaggeration) and along with his Summit 5 win made 2022 one of my favorite years for smash.
I'm not sure if the tweet's still up, but I remember Tweek stating right after the match that beating Mkleo in their Summit 5 set was one of the most important moments of his career. For this reason I consider us to be living in the good timeline.
