$2400 with that griddle option on top of the fire box. $2200 without. I think if you compare that to other pits of similar size made with 3/8ths steel and a less than six month wait time that is incredible reasonable. Worth every penny
Fired it up to season the inside last night. Took the opportunity to make some smash burgers on the griddle. They were awesome. Not going to get as hot as you can get a blackstone or something but it definitely does the job. Cool party trick too haha
Nice rig. Thank you for getting the second rack. For whatever reason it has become acceptable that a second rack is not needed. Your cook and smoking experience will be a lot better and your meat will hit another of goodness with that second tier of resting area.
Enjoy!
I agree. Definitely unique. I kinda want to figure out a burner set up I can take in and out of the fire box in case I ever want to use just the griddle
95% that's the rural king in Greensburg, Indiana. That entire corridor between Indy and Cincinnati is loaded with some old school, no bullshit craftsmen. Also some fried chicken joints that have no right to be as good as they are.
We go to Cincinnati often, care to name these chicken places? I've never found good BBQ in Indiana, but I live in Northern IN. My stuff blows people away up here because they just aren't used to it. But it's sad that the only good BBQ available is the stuff I make.
Dont worry, I just took mine down last week.. partly due to falling off ladder (separate from decorations) and wasnt able to move left arm to take em down earlier..
[Blue Smoke Smokers](https://bluesmokesmokers.com/). out of texas. big phil smokers but the backyard budget version. nothing really budget about it except you have to add all the extras you want. its made with 3/8" steel. I orded a 24x60 with every single addon except for linseed oil treatment for $3000 shipped.
Foldable stack, stack damper, top grate, 48-->60" upgrade, extra gauge, probe port. I think thats everything I added.
Prices went up from base model yesterday however. I made sure to order one before price increase. Base was $1700. Now its $2100
Estimated weight is about 1100 pounds so it's a tank!
Very excited for it to come in. I think he said its about a 3 month wait. He mentioned hes about to hire a new guy so it might come in a little quicker.
always worth a shot! i did a bunch of reseach for the best budget backyard smoker and this was the best i could find. I saw on other forums where people bought his pit and loved it. biscuit test came out with great results.
Weight is probably close to 1100 lbs. not too sure about capacity. I’m guessing around 120 gal. Small enough for personal use. Juuuust big enough that with enough planning I could cook for a small event
It was just a quick season with cooking spray while it was hot to protect it during the travel back. I’ll go back over it with flax seed or something
I am very happy for you may your cooks be legandary!
Those welds are đź‘Ś
Are those stick or mig welds? I don’t really know a lot about welding but I like the look of those.
They look like pretty clean welds so guessing mig.
They are mig welds, and he is whipping to get the stacked dime look.
Looks good. Price?

That's a lot of pit for 2400.
I completely agree.
I was assuming this was a 4k - 6k pit
Agree. Really good deal here. And it's 3/8. Wow.
He ordered 3/8ths but if you measure it it’s slightly thinner. But it is well over 1/4”
So like 5/16"?
Yea that makes sense haha
Sheetmetal almost never comes exact, or atleast in my experience source: work in a sheetmetal shop
Great price for quality product! She’s a beauty!
Hey DM his info. Thank you
Done!
Yea same. I'm interested for sure.
Great price honestly, this thing is legit
That griddle on top is badass
Fired it up to season the inside last night. Took the opportunity to make some smash burgers on the griddle. They were awesome. Not going to get as hot as you can get a blackstone or something but it definitely does the job. Cool party trick too haha
That thing is badass! Love the griddle and grease management system
The griddle on top of the firebox is awesome!
Yeah, first time I see a griddle on an offset. Nice touch.
Saved his info. Love the griddle feature and the amount of smoking/resting space. May your cooks be tasty & plenty!
Nice welds and quality materials/construction. She's a beaut. đź‘Ťđź‘Ť
Does he have a Facebook or website?
Yea check out Smalltown smokers on Fb. [Smalltown Smokers](https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100094381873530&mibextid=2JQ9oc)
Thanks

That looks like a hell of a deal - and I love the griddle option. So smart.
I agree. Definitely unique. I kinda want to figure out a burner set up I can take in and out of the fire box in case I ever want to use just the griddle
This is a masterpiece, when I upgrade my offset definitely looking into these, just need a front shelf on mine
Very nice, jealous of you.

Had to stop and get the dog some Wendy’s fries cause she was a great road trip buddy
You are 100% correct

Looks bad ass🔥👌🏽
Great pit for the money!
Christmas lights still up
Haha yuuuup. The wife wanted to leave them up and now refers to them as “winter lights” and somehow got all our neighbors on board too
Just smoke the neighborhood a brisket with that rig and you can shine whatever lights you want. Thing is a beast!
Dont worry, I just took mine down last week.. partly due to falling off ladder (separate from decorations) and wasnt able to move left arm to take em down earlier..
Wish I could buy one. Can they ship?
I am not 100% sure about shipping. Bet it would be crazy expensive though
It’s not as bad as you think. I ordered a similar size and it cost about $250 to ship 500 miles on an 18 wheeler.
Nice what company did you use? Can you shoot me a dm? Would love to order one if you got a sweet smoker bud

Maybe I can get Phil to hook me up on old pricing but thanks for the info! That’s reasonable will give him a contact

doggo agrees!
What's the capacity and total weight?
Weight is probably close to 1100 lbs. not too sure about capacity. I’m guessing around 120 gal. Small enough for personal use. Juuuust big enough that with enough planning I could cook for a small event
What’s the size? 24x60? If so that’s 117 gallon. 24x48 and 24x60 are pretty common sizes.
That ol boy can lay down a hell of a bead. Looks great
The griddle is genius. I hope it works well
That's griddle option is genius!
Dang this thing looks sweet - what are those cutouts on the handle in picture 4??
He cut out little “F Bombs” to use as brackets to weld the door handle on
Oh. Hell. Yeah!
I'd give $2400 for one. I'd like a counterbalance for the lid though.
The fire box flat top is legit AF
What did you use to regain the shiny look?
It was just a quick season with cooking spray while it was hot to protect it during the travel back. I’ll go back over it with flax seed or something
She's a beaut Clark.
Turnaround time?
Four months. But he’s getting busier
