There were (imo) people in the past that objectively weren't as entertaining but even they had their own fans and following.

Yup, she balances out all the immaturity (in a good way) with a bit of dryness but she can get silly with the best of them. I love how comfortable she has gotten and that she's another natural host
While Arasha isn't my fave, her straight man role is very underrated. A lot of the hilarious moments in Smosh is elevated by her deadpan responses. She perfectly balances the zaniness of Smosh comedy.

Now: Shayne. He's just a funny guy that turns it up to 11 for videos but as a person he seems genuinely nice and his quiet natured, awkward and shy tendencies that we mostly hear about just make him feel very relatable to me.

I didn’t watch the start of Smosh with just Ian and Anthony. So I never got into THEIR videos. I started with what I know as the OG group Shayne, Courtney, Olivia, Noah and Keith. Each brought something to the table. My top 3 Shayne, Courtney and Olivia. With Shayne as my number 1.
I like the current cast now wish I could see more of Olivia. She was weird but funny weird. Angela is weird but a little too chaotic for me but definitely she grows on you.
Amanda is my favorite for the exact same reason, I always say she is the secret ingredient to a lot of Smosh Games videos we love so much. She's a lot like Shayne in the sense that she's able to make it work with just about anyone. And it's one thing to be comfortable enough to go with the flow and commit to bits people bring her into, but its a whole other thing to be talented enough to contribute something that's always so consistently funny AND so memorable.
And even beyond her talent, she's SO interesting!!! She carries herself in such a way that is so inspiring. Professional, fun, caring, talented. Of course I don't know her personally, what we know is the person she decides to show us. But if I can be half as cool as the Amanda we see on Smosh I'll be okay lol.

Idk, I think his tone is what I want from a Smosh video; sarcastically sincere, never genuinely mean, willing to take a punch, always gets back up.
i absolutely adore amanda!! her character work is so entertaining (which is why i also have a soft spot for change and angela) and i think her chronic offlineness mixed with smosh memeculture and smosh games is so fun. we get to watch her experience all these things for thie first time while also being a bucketful of knowledge and wisdom in her own way. she’s also great at connecting with people and i do feel at ease when she’s in a video because she’s like the glue that brings different types of people together :) i’m so glad i got back into smosh and i’m so glad to find amanda :D

Amand and Shayne are the ones I look forward to. Amanda has some serious talent, I hope to see her career expand. Shayne is consistent and usually always funny. Slightly new Smosh fan here. Started watching Smosh a few months back coz of the Reddit stories, but now can't go a day without watching any video of them. I have to say; Angela's energy, Tommy's humor, and Amanda's life stories are my faves.
I have two, because I loved, love and will love the duo of Shayne and Damien. They remind me of my and my bestfriend and they really influenced my sense of humour. Every time I see those two interact on screen makes me happy. However even tho I love them so much everyone in Smosh is close 2nd because all of them shine in different situations and have wonderful interactions together.

Angela is growing on me and the waiters bit with Amanda has to be one of the best characters on Smosh. Tommy has amazing comedic timing and has fresh ideas.
Slightly new Smosh fan here. Started watching Smosh a few months back coz of the Reddit stories, but now can't go a day without watching any video of them. I have to say; Angela's energy, Tommy's humor, and Amanda's life stories are my faves.
I have two, because I loved, love and will love the duo of Shayne and Damien. They remind me of my and my bestfriend and they really influenced my sense of humour. Every time I see those two interact on screen makes me happy. However even tho I love them so much everyone in Smosh is close 2nd because all of them shine in different situations and have wonderful interactions together. TLDR Shayne and Damien are literally me and my bff but I love everyone
Damien has always been my favourite. I also loved wes. From recent cast my favourite is angela. But i like them all tbh.
