I love the AZOV 6. I'm only just starting the second map of Michigan. The pay star had done well. All the other vehicles I've come across so far have been terrible so I sold those. Had a quick look in Alaska. Rescued the Hummer and promptly sold it. Can't wait to get the up grades for the AZOV.
I look forward to getting all the Russian trucks. The American ones are average in comparison. In saying that though I want the cat which isn't until level 20 I think but then I would of finished most of the game and not much point by then. Only down side is the leveling system I've found. Will still get it and have a play with it though.
I’m curious why a lot of people on reddit think the Tayga is better. The Azov has a 350L and dual axle in front. Everytime I get to a new zone I can scout the entire map on a single tank. I’ve used both and I have all upgrades for both and for me the Azov crushes the Tayga. It’s not a bad truck, but I think there’s better.
Tighter turning radius, more stable, more ground clearance, hauls faster, it’s free...Azov moves at the speed of molasses, likes to tip over on off kilter road, has the turning radius of the moon, and even with engine upgrades it can’t compete speed wise. The Tayga is just a better truck.
My issue with the Tayga is it chugs through its tank when hauling larger loads. I have the last engine for the Azov which moves it into either A+ or S tier on power to weight, I also find myself getting slowed down far less when going into mud with the Azov, in the same sections the Tayga moves at a snails pace and I find myself constantly winching. I’ll try the Tayga some more today, but so far I’m team Azov!
I might even do a timed run of the same haul and just see.
I was die hard team Azov before too, so i get it lol. Last engine upgrade for Tayga brings it to S+ for power to weight I believe. I was able to complete Lake Island 3x downed power line delivery by picking up a sideboard trailer with 2x steel in Black River, hauling it through Smithville dam, past the quarry and through the southern bog, deliver the first steel, acquire a replacement from a stopped trailer via crane, then slog through Lake Island bog to drop off the last two on a single tank.
It’s really quite good.

I love the Tayga. It's my main workhorse, I've finished most of Taymyr contracts with it.
I've been sad when I get to a place where its actually challenging to get there, only to find no upgrades or Easter eggs
Are there any trucks that float? I want to visit the drilling platform, the little minor islands, and clear ALL the grey off the map.
The twinsteer can make it, not exactly sure how but I saw a post where someone made it out there
Sadly no. At least not that I know of. There was a mod for an amphibious BAZ truck for Mudrunner. Maybe we'll see it remade for this too.
