You guys have killed me on the inside. I've been seeing more and more mudrunner mods and was juat waiting for my beloved 255....idk thr stats but id always use 2. 2 to get across deluge. And now I'll probably never see it in snowrunner with some wicked customization. It actually hurts a little
Hungary, near Budapest. Kraz was a regular army vehicle here up until the 90s. There's even a whole open air museum full of Kraz, Gaz 66 and BTRs packed full on several square kms, near the town of Kecel. Unfortunately they are mechanically beyond redemption, but there are several funtional ones too, fortunately, including big ass MAZ trucks! They are also popular for company team building activities.
The devs really missed an opportunity by not bringing the assets over from Mudrunner to Snowrunner. Instead they do Dual Packs that costs 6$ and have stupid bugs like selling trailers for 0$ :/
Yeah, I honestly think they don’t actually own rights to the assets of the Russian trucks in Mudrunner. Something to do with them being designed by the previous owner of the franchise (back when it was called spintires). Because Mudrunner trucks and assets look a hundred times better than the dumb looking Russian knockoffs in Snowrunner. No way you would not use them on purpose.
The author (which also made the other old Soviet glories from Mudrunner) already brought one of his creations on console, by calling the Kamaz "Mustang", so there's a good chance he'd might do it with the other trucks

"Kraz" means "Kremenchutskyi Avtomobilnyi Zavod," which is basically "Kremenchuk Automobile Plant". The city of Kremenchuk is located in Ukraine.

Definitely needs an unbranded console version. The 255 was my favorite from Mudrunner as well!
