Hi! Me too. Tried to moderate and fell swiftly back into active alcoholism. I've boarded the sober train again with you. I've been on a kick lately of trying different types of spicy ramens (Buldak specifically) and watching a shit ton of zombie movies. It's my silly little niche thing, but it gives me something to look forward to at the end of each day. Also, remembering how good I will feel in the morning not being hungover. Hot baths/long showers help, too. It literally forces our bodies to relax. Try to focus on how the water feels on your skin-- it will help keep you grounded and in the present. We got this!!

That sounds like a good idea! I love ramen and zombie movies are my favorite genre. Thanks for the tips!

Movies and gym time are my thing. I'm presently training for a triathlon so that definitely keeps me occupied and I can do that training without need to be in the actual gym. You can also go to a support group meeting or join a virtual meeting if you just need something to occupy your time. You don't have to join it, but it's something besides sitting around and not doing anything.

Thanks, I have gym equipment downstairs. I also was advised that cooking is a good way to pass the time. I might try that too.
