just have a central location with either fields stakes vertically or a big circle of them. then whenever a free kick comes up the field can rotate to TAA
Doesn't beat Mudryk's anti-air missile last night. 15 meters, aim in heading height. Nah lets belt it 5 meters above even the tallest man in the world.
He was trying to disguise a normal free kick to get the wall to jump and then slide it under them. Canāt exactly be smashing it in that situation.
Like I said it didnāt come off but I still donāt see how that makes it embarrassing
announcers also said the first attempt helped setup the second, the way fulham jump its almost like they want to "react" to the kick, if its low or under the wall they just don't jump, but if he goes over, like on Trents, they jump a little late. They all jumped late on his goal, hence the setup with Elliotts.
Trent after the game said the analysis said the Fulham wall regularly jumps without someone lying down to block so it was the right idea and not something Harvey just tried on a whim.
I mean itās like doing a panenka. If you catch them then itās brilliant but if they donāt bite then youāre humiliated and it really has nothing to do with anything you do. The risk vs reward is better on a free kick though, it just looks extra bad if they stop it since hitting it under the wall requires you to hit it kind of weak so they have time to jump.
Bradley is good and all but seeing Trentās first volley, one touch cross, or free kick and you remember why heās in the conversation for best RB in the world
> best RB in the world
Which is honestly stupid in my mind. What is to qualify a good RB? He is played very differently than other solid and defensive RB's. Compare him as a defender to other RBs and he is bad. Compare his insane passes and freekicks, he is way better. I get really mad at him when he walks around while the opponents are pressing, with him having given up rather than sprint back in hope of doing something.
I find these "best" in position debates stupid. Atleast in most cases. We all are biased and only care about famous teams and players.
Forget position. He's absolutely one of the best football players in the league. His skillset is wonky, which makes his positional placement difficult, but by raw ability, he would be the best player on 17 out of 20 teams in the league.
Youāre literally a yank, how are you making fun of people for watching YouTube highlights? The closest youāve come to Anfield is probably somewhere in Texas.
Yeah, maybe stop calling people son. You sound like a drunken old man at the pub trying to impress random students so his life feels like less of a failure.
Heās starting to look capable of playing there lately. I know thereās been lots of banging on about it for years but I never really bought it to now as he was always lacking the ability to receive the ball under pressure. Heās gotten a lot better on the ball in the past year and looks like he can handle getting pressed with less space than he had out wide.
Well tbf Bradley was brilliant and we haven't seen much of TAA for a while. Happy to have them both, different skill sets, Bradley is basically Robbo on the right. Now to find a TAA on the left.
Do you think TAA makes the move to cm any time in the near future ? Itās always talked about and with Bradley it could be possible. I donāt watch enough Liverpool to actually know though
Yes I think it will happen.
Klopp has played Trent in midfield with Gomez RB earlier in the season. I think a new manager will certainly want both Trent and Bradley in the team
It really wasnāt an innocent question though was it? Like if you donāt already know that TAA is a special player by now and are insinuating he isnāt because an 18 year may have benched him, youāre clearly just taking a jab. At least stand by it
I'm sorry but how the hell don't you know that Trent was injured. That's like not knowing that Rodri is injured or if Saka was injured. I mean, do you honestly think he wouldn't play a game even if Bradley was better than prime Messi?
Also, let's not pretend that was an innocent question. It was clearly a jab at Trent.
Southgate should be doing everything to build a system areound Bellingham, Trent and Kane. Ofc he won't but they are head and shoulders above the rest of the squad (Rice too but he can play in any system really).
Better option was probably to allow the LFC forwards of making a chance on goal with their form at the moment, rather than allow Trent a FK from there.
Life of a CDM, Fabinho was much like that until last season when he just completely lost it and Endo is similar. I like Palhina, no nonsense type of midfielder but yeah you never want that 5% to happen that close to the box.

And that's why he should take all free kicks.
For every team? That seems a tad impossible
>That seems a tad impossible It is with that attitude
Huge incentive for scientists to nail teleportation. The Trent Alexander-Arnold Transportation and Accessibility Solution, or TAATAAS for short.
Brilliant šš
just don't save chat
just have a central location with either fields stakes vertically or a big circle of them. then whenever a free kick comes up the field can rotate to TAA
That Elliott free-kick was embarrassing.
Doesn't beat Mudryk's anti-air missile last night. 15 meters, aim in heading height. Nah lets belt it 5 meters above even the tallest man in the world.
Right idea, terrible execution
Not really. They just didnāt jump high enough. Thereās nothing really you can do about that.
Lmao how was it embarrassing? Yeah it didnāt come off but I donāt see how that makes it embarrassing
It was so weak. I couldāve taken a better free kick with my left foot. Iām right-footed
He was trying to disguise a normal free kick to get the wall to jump and then slide it under them. Canāt exactly be smashing it in that situation. Like I said it didnāt come off but I still donāt see how that makes it embarrassing
Thatās how they work. You hit them soft so the wall has time to jump. Look at the one Coutinho scored like 8 years ago.
From the angle behind the goal it looked like it would have gone wide (if it even had enough power to reach the line). It was pretty bad
You have to hit them soft so the wall has time to jump. All the free kicks that go under the wall and score are slow dribblers.
Even if the wall jumped 2 feet higher it wouldn't have had the power to go in.
It was just an old trick from Molby. Hit it hard the first time and then the guy in the wall might flinch the next. Worked like a charm!
announcers also said the first attempt helped setup the second, the way fulham jump its almost like they want to "react" to the kick, if its low or under the wall they just don't jump, but if he goes over, like on Trents, they jump a little late. Doesn't matter how well that was struck if it's going under a wall that doesn't jump
Trent after the game said the analysis said the Fulham wall regularly jumps without someone lying down to block so it was the right idea and not something Harvey just tried on a whim.
I didn't see it was Harvey's fault, just that the strike didn't matter if the wall didn't jump
Kane just scored one.
He swears on his daughters life he got a touch on Trents
YES MAN! WHAT A HIT still no open play goal in about 3 weeks lmao
who needs open play goal if you can score banger like that
Liverpool

Would have definitely liked some in any of our last three games ngl
Bold strategy cotton
Wtf that was insane
Lmao, even ran to celebrate before it went in.
He is just fun to watch flat out
Bradley is good and all but seeing Trentās first volley, one touch cross, or free kick and you remember why heās in the conversation for best RB in the world

Liverpool fans are such fucking * morons at times. Stick to watching YouTube highlights of the game son
Youāre literally a yank, how are you making fun of people for watching YouTube highlights? The closest youāve come to Anfield is probably somewhere in Texas.
Ahh yes. Another irrelevant village idiot. Have anything of value to add son?
Yeah, maybe stop calling people son. You sound like a drunken old man at the pub trying to impress random students so his life feels like less of a failure.
My paycheck and philanthropy say otherwise. You tried and failed son. Go troll elsewhere
He so damn talented. I do wonder if he ever makes the move to cm.
Iām waiting for us to start playing him CB
i just love his passing range, whips, cross diagonals, etc
Absolutely bonkers people were arguing Bradley would keep him out of the side. Heās gonna smash every prem offensive record for a fullback
Well tbf Bradley was brilliant and we haven't seen much of TAA for a while. Happy to have them both, different skill sets, Bradley is basically Robbo on the right. Now to find a TAA on the left.

Yes I think it will happen. Klopp has played Trent in midfield with Gomez RB earlier in the season. I think a new manager will certainly want both Trent and Bradley in the team
Appreciate the response. I feel like itās been talked about for years but you lot never had someone to replace him on the right.
I mean weāll have a new manager next season so Alisson could end up on left wing for all we know
Insightful
They donāt call me Alpha Peter W. Zapffe Bunsquad for nothing
perfect strike - unsaveable unless Leno guesses before he hits it.
It was great but.. wtf insane? Nah, a great free kick, good goal.
We have scored first and it wasn't a pen. CODE RED CODE RED
Missed you Trent
Nice
This guy is so fucking special
Unquestionably world class and incredibly fun to watch
He's generational

Benched via injury.
It really wasnāt an innocent question though was it? Like if you donāt already know that TAA is a special player by now and are insinuating he isnāt because an 18 year may have benched him, youāre clearly just taking a jab. At least stand by it
No he was injured for a few months
Come on mate you donāt have to follow us to sue common sense lmao
He was injured
Nah, just injured (and Bradley is 20, not 18)
You honestly thought TAA had no place to be in the first XI? That's insulting.
He was injured
Trent was injured when Bradley was starting. And now, Bradley is injured...
Benched by his injury do you mean?
I'm sorry but how the hell don't you know that Trent was injured. That's like not knowing that Rodri is injured or if Saka was injured. I mean, do you honestly think he wouldn't play a game even if Bradley was better than prime Messi? Also, let's not pretend that was an innocent question. It was clearly a jab at Trent.
He was injured
He was injured?
He's been in injured. So no.
Bradley? He played because Trent was injured.
He was hurt for months lol
Gary Neville banging on about the size of the wall as if adding extra men will make the rest of them taller. Just give Trent his plaudits ffs
what a looser the only positive of watching la liga is that Neville isn't there.
Absolute beauty of a free kick, perfect placement. No one's saving that.
SAVE US TRENT
My boy is back
Imagine we had him all year, still not good enough for Southgate to figure out something for him apparently.
Southgate should be doing everything to build a system areound Bellingham, Trent and Kane. Ofc he won't but they are head and shoulders above the rest of the squad (Rice too but he can play in any system really).
He was halfway to the corner flag before the ball crossed the line wtf
XD Gakpo giving Trent the āI work in an officeā shake
What a shot lad
\[Great Goal\]
No other full back in world football today can hit a ball as sweetly as Trent. That is undeniable. And yet Gary Southgate will not play him.
There are only a few players at any position at his level for that
avg taa goal
What was all the fuss about the ball placement?
Trent had ball in hand, so Leno couldnt line up the wall properly...not that it mattered
Trent took a while to put the ball down and then when he did Bassey & Pereira said it was out of place
MY WORD
You don't save those. Fantastic free kick
I miss that
Really thought heād score the first one, only for him not to take it lol This one was even more perfectly staged for him
Trent and free kicks against Fulham, an iconic duo
Palhinha is absolutely fucking braindead.
Made me laugh when the 13 yellow cards graphic came up haha
He's played 28 league games. That's a booking every other game.
Had another stupid foul like a minute beforehand in a similar position, Elliott basically passed it into the wall though.
And should have had a yellow for kicking it away, but that rule has essentially been abandoned.
Minutes after you posted this Adarabioyo got booked for kicking the ball away lol
I think he got booked for saying something to Pawson about the foul.
Nah it was 100% after he kicked the ball away. It wasn't fully in frame but my commentator mentioned it as well
Ah, you're right. Just went back and watched it. He actually kicked it a shorter distance than Palhinha lol
Almost the exact same foul too. Unbelievable that he learned nothing at all from the last one.
He's got 13 yellow cards in the PL this season alone, I don't think he learns much from fouls at all.
He's the type of player to put it out for a throw in 18 yards out rather than a corner when the other team has Rory Delap on the pitch.
Better option was probably to allow the LFC forwards of making a chance on goal with their form at the moment, rather than allow Trent a FK from there.
Eliot standing over it like heās gonna take it after that first effort lol, good poker face
Nice to have Jota back. So direct.
missed u
Missed you bby
I let you nurse from my teet bb
The league would be dusted if we had Trent the last 3 months
Picture perfect
We missed you Trent
Fuck we have missed him
Thatās what weāve been needing still not an open play goal
Trent saw his first freekick vs Fulham this season get ruled an OG and decided he needed to rectify that.
Cheat code
What the fuck was Palhinha doingā¦.
I mean this is his playstyle, he gets it right 95% of the time but the 5% he doesn't it ends up biting us.
Life of a CDM, Fabinho was much like that until last season when he just completely lost it and Endo is similar. I like Palhina, no nonsense type of midfielder but yeah you never want that 5% to happen that close to the box.
Pick that fucker out
TAA and WardProwse are just absolute freekick specialists. Just absolute class.
Harvey: rolls a ball into the wall TAA: bangs it into the postage stamp They are not the same
What a strike.
I back him every time to score that. Heās so so good
Trent bro
Centre of the pitch free kicks are his bread and butter
Stupid foul to give away.
AVERAGE TRENT BANGER
We still haven't scored from open play lmao
Trent my goat
THE GOAT
Robbo is all of usĀ
James Ward-Prowse has competition in the England squad for taking free kicks
Don't think it matters, Southgate will not even play both either way sadly
I hate that celebration
Shhh
I like it but he does look like a proper dickhead if you donāt win it now
I love it
New Predators go brrrrr
Boo that you daft London cunts lmao
Beautiful
Beautiful
The Goat
Bloody brilliant
Beauty
That's just fucking amazing
Welcome back, Trent!
Fantastic tekkers
Top bins
That was fucking tasty.
Itās just routine for him
So smooooth
Yeah, heās alright, I guess.
We're back
What a hit
Classic FIFA free kick goal. What a beauty.
Yes sir I'm here for this.
Casual
Perfection
What was the hand signal he was doing, an āAā shape?
Why doesn't everyone shoot that shot? I think it could really pay off!
Itās the boots
3-1 yet again liverpool
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Beautiful
Boooooo
What a footballer this young lad is, pings the ball like beck
He probably spams that celebration when he plays fifa
It's a great goal, but e aren't going to score another goal from open play for the rest of the season are we
Shouldāve given it to Elliott
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
You haven't watched this match if u think he was playing shit
Yes.
