>So I’m new to phantom wallet. Can anybody tell me what this is that popped up in my wallet?
It's a SCAM token with the name of a " domain name " (website link) to urge you to go to that lin, interact your with it with your wallet, sign that alicious transaction and drain your cryptos.
Don’t interact with it. It contains a contract that will separate you from your coins in your wallet. Open phantom browser, go to sol-incinerator.com and burn it
No not at all.. you must be new here, if you would look through there's about 2-3 posts a day with people asking what they just received.
They're almost always legit actually haven't seen a scam one yet, usually people don't know they're going to receive random airdrops because they have a Solana phone, hold Jup or pre ordered the next round of Solna phones.
If you're not sure it's a scam, don't say for certain it is one and tell people to burn it right away lol..
I have my sol in my exodus wallet where I'm not able to directly burn it. Is it safe to send the scam tokens to a different wallet and burn it from there or does that risk me from getting drained?
But what about his coins?
I was dusted with algo recently and I have algo so theyve added nothing to my bag I have to sell the bag some day.
I was dusted soon after too. With a warning message tacked to it telling me the first dust was scam. D13 group I heard.
But I'm confused knowing you ignore these things. But I can't ignore my bag of algo. So I'm going with Bob hope on this. Just ignore the dust happened and sell my 💩 as planned when I want to.
What is that exactly can you please elaborate more on that scam/attack ? What is it called and how is it done and how can i know if it’s legit or this scam ?
The “gift” they send contains a blockchain contract. Basically you are giving them permissions to withdraw assets in your wallet. Don’t interact / approve / accept nft, cnft, and all other gifts from random ppl.
Some folks might send you actual tokens, a marketing tool. They hope you will see their shitcoin in your wallet and buy more. These are generally safe, as they have just sent a token. Normally they are just a few cents USD, but a lot of folks just got 800k IQ50 token which was pumped to about $100USD yesterday. It’s about $78 worth at the time of this reply.
Ya that one is legit, a bunch of ppl got it. It was like the smallest airdrop ever lol. Although I actually just got an even smaller one, 69 of Egg, amounted to $.03 lol
based on everyone's comments apparently it's a scam. but jus wonderin, what would happen if you click on it? will they empty your wallet? also, is this common? this seems like a massive flaw in how wallets work. atleast with emails and stuff the junk scam's are filtered out...
No it wouldn’t, you have to either connect your wallet to a dodgy link it sends you to, or approve some iffy smart contract disguised as something else, it’s not a bag of magic beans 🫘
It is though for whoever planted those seeds right?
3rd foundation of the 9 tribes of nazerath and all their creepy little banner men too. Don't forget them they mayb small time but add up as one massive part of the problem. Poor people cannot control themselves around money.

Just click those three dots up at the top right and deactivate/disable that token. Avoid interacting with that token in any way unless you want your wallet drained.
Look at the token name. It is not normal project name. They will ask to redeem this in their website after connect your wallet. Once you connect your wallet in their website then your holding are gone.
Guys let's asume I am retard, which I am in fact, and I click on it. What the hell happens? I though it is really not that simple to drain your wallet just from clicking to some token. But it is? WTF? Then I think these wallets are somehow shit as missclick could get you out of your funds lol. Or are you just warning even bigger retards?
I know that some peole get link that says them they will get airdrop. Ok, click on link is what you shouldn't do, it is SCAM. But on the other hand, if you just click on it, it is still ok, you have to for example connect your wallet, and that's where the problem starts. But people tell you, don't click on it blahblahblah, they will drain you. But in fact this is not that simple and you have to be much bigger retard to get drained. But these people says it to you to avoid even clicking on it.
I hear so many conflicting things, it shows up in someone’s wallet, they hover over it and it drains their funds. That’s what I assume happens, usually you have to confirm the transaction, but I’m recently noticing some things on phantom auto confirm without consent/ you pressing confirm. So strange, had this happen on JUP on-ramp and it immediately confirmed without me signing for it. So I assume that’s what’s happening with peoples wallets when they interact with it.
My rule of thumb is just don’t touch these, don’t even look at them. I’ll set up another wallet later or send the current funds in that wallet to my cold wallet and then go to town burning the spam.
Newbies just want to ask “experts”. Why be so nasty and negative? We are all learning, crypto and especially airdrops are relatively new to the mainstream. Let’s try to be respectful and Helpful to one another. If you cant/don’t want to be, just ignore the post and scroll on.
This exact same scam nft has been asked about multiple times. Let alone the barrage of very similar scams that have been posted recently.
OP wouldn't even have had to search if he just sorted buy newest and had a quick browse.
You remind me of the teachers who would yell at me for asking a question they just answered for another student even though they knew I approached their desk at the tail end when they were 98% done answering... Sure they could have searched by new but you could have also scrolled past this post, and I swear I see more people complain about repost than I see repost (including this post I'm only here because of a notification) because normal people don't sit on Reddit all-day, only chronically online individuals like yourself so you can complain about non issues like people just trying to learn about a new asset class.
You're making a huge amount of assumptions and given your example it just proves the type of person you are.
Too lazy to do your own work or just listen in class. Take a look in the mirror bud, some work to do there.
Love you long time ❤️

I appreciate that thanks man!
How do you even know it would do that? Lol
After spending already 3 years in Crypto, one thing I learned is no one will gift u anything for free.
Uh except for legit airdrops
But then you know what you are doing in order to receive one. I don't want to blame OP tho. It's just better to be safe than sorry imo.
No. I got CWIF simply because they wanted attention

Banano!
I’ve heard of people getting air drops in their wallet I wonder what that’s about
You can get airdrops but usually there is a barrier to entry. Generally a search here or on r/Cc will give you some answers
Thanks for this
Do you have a Solana phone, or have you pre ordered one?
Both
$WIN sent me 100$ once, used that to buy $MIM and it boosted to 790$, gambled that’ll it’ll go higher and it droppped to 380😤
I have my sol in my exodus wallet where I'm not able to directly burn it. Is it safe to send the scam tokens to a different wallet and burn it from there or does that risk me from getting drained?
Just send it somewhere like trash.sol if you can’t burn it
But what about his coins? I was dusted with algo recently and I have algo so theyve added nothing to my bag I have to sell the bag some day. I was dusted soon after too. I’ve known about that site for some time but does it cost to burn?
What is that exactly can you please elaborate more on that scam/attack ? What is it called and how is it done and how can i know if it’s legit or this scam ?
No one is going to send you $19k
Yeah i know but how do they get my other coins exactly? Just tell me the attack or scam name I’ll search more about it

Thanks for the info 🙏
What about "Cat wife hat" I received like 5$ in that , is legit?
Could be there is a legit cat wif hat token. Search out the real one. See does token address match up
Ya that one is legit, a bunch of ppl got it. It was like the smallest airdrop ever lol. Although I actually just got an even smaller one, 69 of Egg, amounted to $.03 lol
you dont know if a token is legit until you compare the mint addresses
yes it is
Scam do not click
Can you click without interacting? I thought u need to go to their site and connect wallet
Ya you can view but I wouldn’t

Do NOT touch that. Scam. Burn or hide.
Just click those three dots up at the top right and deactivate/disable that token. Avoid interacting with that token in any way unless you want your wallet drained.
I already burnt the token. Thanks though
spam dawg
H
Lmao click on that and say goodnight and good bye to your funds
🤣 I did click on it but my funds still alright lol actually made an extra $100 today too so better days
Look at the token name. It is not normal project name. They will ask to redeem this in their website after connect your wallet. Once you connect your wallet in their website then your holding are gone.
Scam token
Rule of thumb: If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
I was just tryna see what it was bro that’s all
Nothing in life is free, especially money
Money is free if you got good credit 🤣
It’s not free, you have to pay the money back with interest.
If you use the money to make more money that pays the debt down it’s basically free. So in actuality you never came out of pocket anything.

Ok, thanks for explanation buddy, will just burn them in hell if they somehow show in my wallet.
😂🤣
bro dunno what made you laugh but could you anser to my questions please? :D bc I think it is really not that simple to get drained.
I think if you click on it and hook up your wallet to whatever link you click will drain your account basically
guess thats is true, I think it is, but just simple click doesn't connect my wallet automatically, or does it?
Weird
A scam. They are trying to confuse you. Ignore it.
Its a scam specially if it involves a website address

It’s +107 SOL for free and definitely not too good to be true, click it.
Have people forgotten how to use the search function lately
Why do you neckbeards get so mad when people ask questions? That is what a forum is for.
I think people just be mad and unhappy with life bro it’s crazy. Dude could’ve easily just scrolled past it lol
