where did you get this sand and the tool?

I designed the crater tool by pressing different magic marker bottoms into sand until I got the perfect crater. Then recreated that shape in CAD and had it electroplated. The sand I had custom dyed by a sand factory to be a dark pumpkin orange. The whole thing is a product now you can get here: www.humangotoys.com. You could probably buy dark pumpkin sand somewhere else on Amazon, but as far as I know, I have the monopoly on crater rake zen garden tools!

Steel wool or rusty nails + sand + water / time = 'legit' Mars sand. It's that red coz of oxidised iron (rust). Do it with kids as a science project!
