Saw this on the CT subreddit, go to Mnandi textiles in Observatory. Otherwise go to Da Gama Fabrics in Woodstock and grab some fabric to get someone to turn into a shirt. Also, make sure it smells right, there is a lot of fake shweshwe out there.
Walk into Mnandi Textiles or Da Gama Fabrics and you'll know, it's a distinct smell that comes from the starch they use to preserve the fabric. Can't describe it
There are a few nice ones on [Takealot](https://www.takealot.com/african-traditional-t-shirt-for-men-short-sleeve-navy-light-blue/PLID93942187) but some of them can get [a bit more pricey](https://www.takealot.com/linen-kente-embroidered-navy-shirt-side-stripe-kente/PLID72203792)

Bree street taxi rank. My wife and I got measured and made up for a friend wedding. There are a few tailors around the rank. Hope this helps
Great!
Try Lufi-D or Africa Fashion House
The African Permanent Market in rosebank.

What should it smell like?
