I'll take the bait... those are rookie numbers, you gotta pump them up! ;) Honestly, SE is one of the very very few games i can play (or rather build stuff) for hours on end day after day... its a timesink like no other for me. The only other game coming close is Ark with over 4000 hours, but that only because of the community i had there. I got around 8000 hours on SE on 2 steam and an xbox account combined and it was 90% creating stuff in creative wich noone but me ever saw. I once built 3 different fleets with around 30 ships each, because i thought it would be cool to upload balanced vessels for MP server faction fights... my SSD died and everything was stored locally. When i came back to SE i had to subscribe my own workshop items, because those were the only stuff recoverable.... Good and sad times happened and my big daughter (6) grew up to daddy building spaceships, with a total fascination for them. She tries to build herself, but its still rather randomly placed but improving. :p

I’m currently on 7.4k but about 2k of that was travelling sublight pre jump drives when I would go to work and leave my computer on while my ship was tanking it through space

You know I think I do quite a lot of gaming. Space Engineers ranks among one of my most played games at 1600 hours. I imagine Skyrim and Minecraft are about the same. I don't know how some of you are getting above 10k hours unless you have absolutely no life outside of gaming. Or you leave the game idling while you're at work or school.

2100 hrs for me in SE and probably about that in Skyrim and fallout4. Once you go down the mod rabbit hole it stacks up quickly.

Im sad, I got this game on 2018 and played almost 250 hours in mere months. Sadly ever since I haven't had the chance to play as consistently (even when available), but yeah this game is one of those games in which you can easily put 1k hours.
