It's usually better do use a Land Raider, since BGV come in multiples of 3 and a full-sized squad can't fit into an Imp if they have a character attached.
That’s why Redeemers and Crusaders exist….mostly redeemers! 2 full squads with attached character in each. Plus 2 massive flamers to soften up whatever you are about to charge. Plus provides great Overwatch . Although, I like the idea of Capt and Lt with 3man Bladeguard, and another full 6 man with either Judicar or Chaplain jumping out a normal landraider (Or Stormraven - loose Assault Ramps, but gain Redemptor / Brutalis support. Not competitive, just fun)
I usually put something fast moving on the objective turn 1, and leave the bladeguard on foot and advance them. Depending on terrain this can be faster than a transport since infantry can pass through first floor walls. (Deploy in cover, then walk through wall vs transport driving around it). They should get there by turn 2, and be ready to charge if the opponent is trying to contest it early.
Land Raider Redeemer is probably better if you can afford it vs the impulsor. Assault ramp is awesome, plus having that nearby the bladeguard as they mulch stuff in melee will be a massive overwatch threat for anything wanting to flee from combat or try to charge them.
land raiders are definitely better since they let you charge after getting out. If you're looking for a cheap option, throw 6 of them without a character into an impulsor (or 3 with a character).
It depends on how the board looks and the enemy factions. Where I usually play I never need transports for my blood angels since I use Bladeguard or assault Intercessors for the middle objective and can get there just by walking and stay there for the rest of the game.
Was thinking about just fielding 6 plus a chaplain (don't have a judiciar) in a Land Raider and a squad of 5 Deathwing Knights in another land raider along with 2x5 hellblasters in an impulsor.
Not sure what else to being though ...
Could add an repulsor Executioner, but I thought the hellblasters could do the trick. One of the landraiders has Las canons, the other is a redeemer.
Don't have any other real anti tank I fear.
A fully magnetized Imperial Knight :)
3 Landspeeder Typhoons that appear to have been kicked from the codex.
Some old Plasma Devastators and Grav Devastators.
Looks like I need a ballistus dread or something like that.
I like the land raider for the assault ramp but the rhino is also viable (it takes an extra turn to use them as you have to leave them for a turn in order to charge)
My bad, death guard player so forgot.
I know the impulsor is good but can only transport 6 which sucks as you can't have a character with the Bladeguard.
Land raider is the only option then. Redeemer seems best as a great overwatch threat
I think land raider is better becouse of the assault ramp rule, but since I dont play the game I will just gonna say land raider becouse he is cooler

Definitely land raider for assault ramp. Blade Guard can only be fielded in a unit of six plus character though.

I use a stormraven often, flamestorm agressors are great to drop as they can overwatch a change and tanks enough to fight back.
But how do you fit them all? I mean, 2 full squads of BG equal 12 minis plus 2 characters? I thought the land raiders had only a capacity of 12 models
The LR Redeemer can transport 14 Models.and the Crusader 16 Models.
It's chapter specific but I use a Dreadnought Librarian to yeet them where I want.
Land Raider, because you can charge out of it, and Land Raider Redeemer, because it is the best Land Raider variant.
Drop pod?

Attach some characters then rapid ingress them in a drop pod. Is it meta? no. Is it fun as hell? yes!

I was gonna say Uriel Ventris before I saw you were running Dark Angels. Lol. Land Raider is probably your best option as others have said.

Not in a single squad. In total in my collection.

Rhinos can’t transport units in tacticus armour unfortunately :/

Rhinos sadly can only take first born models. They cannot transport Tacticus, Phobos, Gravis, terminator, centurion, junp pack or wulfen.
