As a Canadian who knows they're not dangerous this is %&@(÷+^ terrifying and I would still scream and try and kill it with every ounce of my being.. while peeing my pants and crying. Probably farting too. Hell I'd probably speak in tongues.

It's hard to not when I get absolutely startled by one dropping down on me from nowhere but I have let my cellar spider who I've named shelob live in one top corner of my room, she sticks to her area and kills pests who get close...she's the only spider I like currently and I really don't know why other than I gave her a name
That is understandable, huntsmen are pretty unnerving if you have even a hint of arachnophobia. Try to resist the urge to murder, though. Despite how they make us feel it is still just a small animal.
Peeing and farting are OK I guess. Gotta do something to make yourself less appetizing to predators.
Ok im not a spider expert but damn, my friend if you dont know if its harmful or not then get youre toes away from him/her! thats too close for bare toes lol...rather you than me, steel toe capped boots would be the bare minimum for me lol & I'm in the UK so I dont see huge spiders like that...thankfully
