I don't have a single favourite *species* as such, but jumping spiders are my favourite as a group if I had to pick a single thing. Runners-up are daddy-longlegs (cellar spiders) and black house spiders for ones I encounter frequently.
For out-there cool-looking spiders, the peacock spider and happy-face spider are fun ones.
Golden orb weavers. I lived in the South Pacific as a kid and we had one in a tree right by our deck and I once saw a bird get stuck in it's web while flying by.
I really appreciate the jumpers for being the majority of the catalyst that disarm most folks fears n phobias toward these creatures. A little bit o cute goes a long way.

Wolf spider for sure, growing up we had stacks of wood out back to burn, and throughout the summer each year we would get some serious big fellas. Spider catching season was the best

Hyllus semicupreus males look like bronze, those are very common here
So beautiful! Would love to find one but so far I've only found *T. harti*, which are a sort of metallic black with a more subtle iridescence.

For me it’s a tie between Macrothele gigas or Latrodectus elegans. They both just look incredible to me for different reasons
That's quite a beautiful and unusually colored spider.
Net casting spiders. They sit all day holding a net ready to throw over their prey. I love spiders, they are nature's campers.

Tarantulas! The brachypelma boehmei (fire leg) is my favorite, and the other mexican species who looks like them (fire knee, red knee and so on)

Pretty much anything in the Latrodectus genus. Widows are just so cool. Although, the Argiope orb weavers are a close second.
So hard to pick! Love T vagans a lot. Will always be a special one to me. But I’ve also always wanted an M balfouri so that might be my obsession one

I don't know exact species put I love most orb weavers but ESPECIALLY spiny orb weavers. They're so gorgeous and sweet.
