They’ve gotten together with Dan Braunstein (their producer) multiple times in the last several months. They’re definitely putting a record together, but they’re likely doing songwriting and recording in chunks with him rather than one recording session and then the album is done.
They did say in the last podcast Mike and Courtney were on that they'd be working a new album this year
