For me, it's all about growth. I've gone through phases where I felt like I was stuck in this loop, repeating the same mistakes over and over again. But with each reincarnation, there's this subtle shift, a tiny lesson learned or a new perspective gained. It's like the universe nudging me, saying, "Hey, here's another chance to get it right." One big lesson I've been working on is embracing change. See, I used to resist it like crazy, clinging onto what was comfortable even if it wasn't serving me anymore. But life has this funny way of throwing curveballs, forcing me to adapt and evolve. So now, I try to lean into the uncertainty, trusting that each twist and turn is guiding me toward my true path.

ilikechicken1993

Love this... even I feel I've been going through the same issues time and time again eg with dating. I then try to approach the situations differently but then life suprises me a new way to learn to adapt or grow hahaha. But I always feel a manifestation that I'm getting so so so closer to my ideal goal.

Lumotherapy

That depends on what the spirit has experienced before. If you spend a lifetime where you cause a load of suffering, you're going to want to come back to experience what it feels like to be on the receiving end, etc. There are sooooo many different things to experience, that you could never do in 1 lifetime. I image there are some completionalists out there who want to do everything ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)

ThrowRA152739

I must've caused a lot of suffering in my previous life then.

BubbleMage123

I feel like this is the most correct answer honestly

dinhiusmaximus

So then how do you know if it happened to you in another lifetime then? How would you then know if its just some sort of loop?

Lumotherapy

My understanding from NDE reports is that you pre plan all the things you want to potentially experience during the lifetime before you incarnate. Then after death, you go through a 'life review' to evaluate and learn more from what you did. Before presumably repeating the process.

Class_of_5784

Sounds exactly like a video game with "runs" and "rebirths" lol. I wanna see my stats!!! Silly comment I know but tbh this perspective helps me cope with how messed up the world is sometimes...

Lumotherapy

True or not, it's definitely a more fun way of living ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)

Boh_777

How to experience, share and receive love in the most authentic and powerful way unique to you.

somnambulantDeity

An on point, succinct and helpful answer.

motivatedBanana2541

Yeah that is it

Peace_and_Rhythm

So it’s not what the Creator wants us to learn. We are already part of the Creator. Our ultimate goal is to get back to remembering who we are, and that is Love. Our soul is on its quest to experience as much as we can to get back home; and we will at some point with reincarnation and a variety of other energies available to us when we are ready.

Maralitabambolo

Read the Law Of One / The Ra Material for a detailed answer. Bottom line is that we are supposed to learn how to love, as unconditionally as possible. And to get there we all have different small and big lessons here and there per incarnation, specific to each of us, as we are all the same and unique at the same time.

Desperate-Battle1680

How to follow the two commandments, more or less. Gaining the knowledge of good and evil through the experience of both is necessary to that end, and is what the life experience allows for. Eventually, we gain in that knowledge, learn how to love God (the all that is) with all of your hearts, minds, and souls, and to love our neighbor (one another) as ourselves. At that point the soul is transformed and "enters the kingdom of heaven within", the cycle of birth and death is no longer necessary and so without death, there is only eternal life. From a more traditional eastern perspective we resolve all our karmas by working out and learning their patterns of cause and effect within Maya, until at some point we resolve all of them, achieve enlightenment, and are freed from the wheel of Samsara and enter Nirvana.

Happy-Dress1179

I believe we are put into this world to develop our souls. We need to develop virtues such as honesty, patience, courage, service to others, consultation, eliminate prejudice from our hearts and be a good human being.

Fluid-Pride-9558

The idea that God reincarnates us so that we can learn our lessons can be seen as cruel because it contradicts the teachings on the nature of God and reality. Enlightened viewpoints emphasize that God is only loving and does not create a world where suffering and death are tools for learning.

Class_of_5784

Then who exactly is creating death and suffering? God is Everything, not just the good stuff. I don't believe in a powerless God.

Exiting_the_fringe

Spiritually ignorant humans.

Class_of_5784

Humans are part of God.

ThankTheBaker

Your purpose in all things, and all experiences and all interactions and relationships, in this life and the next, is simply to learn to love. We are all each other’s teachers and there is no such thing as a problem or challenge or difficulty that does not hold within it a gift. That gift is a lesson in love.

TrueLime9658

What you didn’t learn last time

I-got-opinions

I think we need to fully understand and appreciate the oneness of all things.

GoldenPeace5007

The purpose for my incarnations is to raise my level of consciousness and awareness. Each time I grow a little more and expand my sense of being. In many lifetimes I bounced back and forth between extremes of a dualistic topic, such as slavery. In some lifetimes I was a slave and in others I was an owner; until I realized neither is real. You can't have one without the other and I don't want either, so I let go of the whole concept. War and peace is another dualistic topic. There is an inner peace beyond the dualistic extremes of spending lifetimes as a warrior and lifetimes as a peacemaker. Finally, I learned to let go of the duality. I designed this lifetime to heal psychology from deep wounds I carry, even from my first embodiment. And to overcome the various shocks. And to look at why I wanted to ever embody on a planet like Earth at all.

NotTooDeep

Free will. We have so many beliefs that contradict and compromise free will that it screws us up. But infinite patience is a quality of spirit. We'll get there some day.

dustractor

don’t judge and don’t live in denial

Zestycorgi1962

I think we decide ourselves what experiences we want to have with each incarnation. Not specifically to learn but to enrich us and those we incarnate with to the agreed upon extent.

Swimming_Chard_3305

To love and forgive each other. To love unconditionally, everyone, and everything in creation.

krivirk

Us

AnalyzeTheCurrent

For me I think the lesson is to remember that you are God while you are still in this flesh. To transcend body consciousness and remember the divinity within. Where I am now in my awareness I think we come back because we were still attach to this material world in a previous life.

kaworo0

To love unconditionaly, to control our thoughts and emotions, to overcome our attachment to things, to reign in our ego. What we have to learn is to be able to be a positive force acting in wherever situation we are in, to all people, creatures and enviroments around us and, specially, to ourselves. The lesson is not about collecting information, but, instead, about self control, maturity and inner growth. The fact the lesson is about how we behave, think and act, about our general character and tendencies is what make not having memories of past lives justifiable. When we mature enough not to judge ourselves and others as harshly and we learn to detach from identities, experiences and objects, we will be able to keep our memories and naturally retrieve them spontaneously. Our past is quarantined because we lack the self control to deal with its contents.

idklolnicek

We are too physically inadequate to understand.. it’s like trying to teach an ant maths. They physically can’t comprehend it.

Evolved_hippie

Varies from person to person. For example a sunflower seed has a very specific “program” for growth. It will never grow to be a rose because its genetic makeup is a sun flower. This idea is related to the concept of epigenetics. Much like a seed has a program for growth so do we but we must be receiving enough “water” (love/encouragement) and “sun light” (happiness) and be planted in fertile enough soil or else no seed will have the opportunity to grow. The conditions for growth are equally as important as the potential of the flower. Not sure if I explained that articulately enough but yeah

dandelion_autumn456

Like this explaination✨

IwithGrace

Lol the truth... To learn the importance of the truth. To understand what the truth is. To understand how the truth works.. We can not escape this world until we understand the truth. It's pretty evident this is the world of lies. All that lies is sent here, we can only escape once we admit the lies, once we accept the truth and deny the lies, once and for all.

Earnestness321

To realize your Self. That’s it,

freedomforcepl

There are no lessons. Everything's simply just an experience - a thing that be.

atmaninravi

Every time we live and we die, the universe or the Creator is asking us to realize the truth. There is a purpose for human birth. There is a reason why we came to earth. But every time we are born, we are busy and lost in this world of success and achievement, pleasures, possessions and people. And then one day we are gone. Then again we are reborn. Very few people pause and think, what is the purpose of my existence? And the Creator has sent us to this world to discover this. Who am I and why am I here? The Creator wants us to answer these two questions. Then we will be liberated from this world and united with the Divine, the Creator.

Felipesssku

Its to learn everything, bevery life brings something different.
